MDACS wins 4 awards at the Emvies, 2012 The Mumbai Districts AIDS Control Society sees eye to eye

with some of the most successful brands in the country such as Cadburys India, Airtel, Tata Sky, Reliance Mobile, HSBC, Titan, Fanta, Axe, Birla Sunlife, BigBazaar among many others at the Emvies 2012. MDACS won 4 awards in the 126 entries that were shortlisted among 750+ entries at the Emvies - Grand Finale held on 3rd September, organized by the Advertising Club of Bombay to honor contributions made in the field of the media industry.

MDACS had launched an innovatively crafted campaign that was targeted to reach migrants in the city of Mumbai using entertainment education capitalizing on Phone Sex Chats which was entered by GroupM Dialogue Factory (MDACS agency, 2011-12) in 4 award categories in the Emvies, 2012. The campaign and case study stood apart among the cases presented by the stalwarts in the media/advertising industry. The awards won were: 1. Gold Emvie, Best Media Innovation Ambient Media 2. Gold Emvie, Best Media Strategy Services 3. Silver Emvie, Best Media Innovation - Direct Marketing 4. Bronze Emvie, Best Media Innovation Digital (Mobile/Handheld devices)

Mumbai Districts AIDS Control Society MDACS works for the prevention and control of HIV & AIDS under the National AIDS Control Organization and the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai. This very same case study was also presented by MDACS at the Entertainment Education Conference5 organized by Johns Hopkins University at Delhi in November, 2011.
