SB 227 | Voter Access & Participation


To restore local control to Ohio's election process and increase voter participation by permitting an individual who wishes to vote by absent voter's ballots to request ballots online by permitting a board of elections to mail unsolicited applications for ballots, and requiring the Sec. of State to reimburse boards for costs incurred in sending unsolicited applications for general elections held in an even-numbered year.

SB 344 | Rape Crisis Center Funding


To provide funds to the Rape Crisis Fund for victims of sexually oriented crimes and increase criminal contributions to the Reparations Fund. Also creates the Rape Crisis Program Trust Fund, administered by the Attorney General. Anyone convicted of sexually oriented crime will be charged a $100 court cost.

SB 307 | Guide Men in Sexual Health & Reproductive Choices


To require physicians to take certain actions before and after issuing prescriptions for drugs intended to treat symptoms of erectile dysfunction. Requires men to obtain a notarized affidavit of impotence from sexual partner before prescriptions are issued.

SB 349 | The FAIR Act Fair and Acceptable Income Required


To strengthen Ohios wage discrimination laws by requiring employers to substantiate pay differences for causes other than seniority, merit, or quantity or quality of employee productionwith legitimate, job-related or skill-based reasons. The Fair and Acceptable Income Required (FAIR) Act would also prohibit retaliation against workers who discuss salaries with colleagues or raise concerns about wage inequality, and prevent wage discrimination based upon sexual orientation.

SB 335/HB 525 | Cleveland School Plan


A transformative plan allowing for more school autonomy, parental involvement, student advisory roles, levy revenue sharing with high-performing charter schools that partner with the district, and the creation of a transformation alliance to enable local control of charter schools that operate within the City of Cleveland.

SB 366 | Early Voting Restoration


To ensure voter equity by mandating extended early voting hours for all counties for the 35 days before Election Day. The bill will restore crucial early voting periods on Saturdays and Sundays as well as weeknights until 7:00 pm.

SB 363 | Garfield Heights Tax Abatement


To permit an abatement, for a limited time, of unpaid property taxes, penalties, and interest owed on city property that would have been tax exempt except for a failure to comply with certain tax procedures.
