Thank you for your interest in applying for one of our open Editor positions at the Texas Undergraduate Law Review. Please also see the Description of Position document to learn more about the position requirements, responsibilities, and more! Please fill out the following application. This application is due to be submitted by Friday October 5, 2012 at 11:59PM CST to apply.TexasULR@gmail.com. Late applications will not be accepted. Should you be selected to receive an interview, you will be notified by the phone number you have provided for your availability during the week of October 8-12. You must attend the interview time you schedule in order to remain eligible to be accepted. Final decisions will be made October 13 and you will be notified of your acceptance that evening. Please answer the following questions on no more than a total of three (3) pages (single-spaced, Times New Roman font, size 12, 1 margins). You may divide your space between your responses in any manner you wish (except where noted), and use as much or as little of the four-page maximum as you wish, but your responses must not go over a total of three (3) pages. Write about a documented legal case (on a state, federal, international, or foreign level) which you find intriguing. Explain the circumstances leading up the case, the positions of the opposing parties, the judgment/ruling made by the court on the matter, and your opinion of why/why not the decision was correct. 4. Provide a brief summary of a topic you would like to write about in the November edition of TULR Monthly. (No more than 500 words). 5. What other time commitments do you have over the course of the semester and the year (i.e. organization involvement, academic workload, employment, etc)?
