Kyffin Williams was elected as the President of the Royal Cambrian Academy from 1969 through 1976, and later in the year 1992. Williams was also made an Honorary Fellow of University College, Swansea in the year1989, University College, Bangor in the year 1991, and later on University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, which was in the year 1992. 1991 was the time when Williams received the Medal of the Honorable Society of Cymmrodorion.
