INTRODUCTION
Dishwashers and Hospital laundry industry expects to grow by 60 per cent in the nearer future. This area needs to be regularly updated with newer technologies, so that the innovations are meaningful to the customers. Need to find the benefits, needs of Indian customers for these products

NEEDS OF THE STUDY


1. Market survey for knowing prevailing market condition of IFB washing machines in Anakapalli 2. To study the awareness of IFB within the specified area

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY 1. To identify the potential of IFBs industrial laundry 2. To identify scope of front loader washing machine in the selected area market

SOURCES OF DATA COLLECTION


Our Research is mainly based on two sources: 1. Primary data 2. Secondary data

1) PRIMARY DATA: Questionnaire: Primary data was collected by preparing 8 Questionnaires and visited the consumers (domestic & industrial) and the dealers to get their response and information 2) SECONDARY DATA: Secondary data consist of information collected from the Internet.

INTERPRETATIONS
1. On the basis of survey done, it is clear that in Anakapalli, there is still a huge chance of sales of product like hospital laundry, because 27% of people are using local dhobi and other 73% people keep workers for washing. 2. Details of the workers who are working in manual hospital laundry .here 37% hospitals are using one member, 36% hospitals using two members and other 27% hospitals are using three members for washing purpose. 3. In hospital sector 18% respondents only had an idea about this company. 4. From 77% respondents all of them are interested to buy the hospital laundry at the price of 1, 50,000. Others are not interested. 5. Monthly expenses for washing of hospital laundry are different for every hospital. 11% of hospitals spending below 6000, 77% are spending 6 to 10 thousand and other 22% of hospitals are spending more than 10000 rupees for washing per month. 6. In Anakapalli, one of the hotel and restaurants has front loading washing machine not from IFB. And 70 % of organizations are using own workers and 19% of them are getting out sourced. 7. Except new Sri Rama other hotels and restaurants are using lot of man power for glass and dish washing, from total respondents 35% of them using two members, 35% of them are using two members for washing purpose. 8. Awareness of this company in Anakapalli, only 15% of respondents (hotels, restaurants & bars) from total respondents had an idea about this company.

9. From total respondents of organizations 60% of people are interested to buy the industrial dishwasher at the price of 1, 00,000. Others are not interested. 10. Monthly expenses for washing of glasses and dishes are different. 25% of organizations are spending below 6000, 30% are spending 6 to 10 thousand and finally 45% of organizations are spending more than 10000 rupees for washing per month.

FINDINGS
1. Most of them are not willing to install this machine which will consume electricity resulting in high electricity bill. 2. As the price of the machine starts from Rs.25000, so it is not under the budget of most of the customers. 3. Few of them also said that after installing they have to spend extra money on its running and maintenance. 4. Mainly in Anakapalli area there is no brand awareness of IFB, less number of members have an idea about these products. 5. Yet two hospitals and three hotels can afford to buy these products. 6. And other restaurants and bars are not showing at least interest towards these two products of IFB.

LIMITATIONS
1. Our survey was confined within Anakapalli only so the outcomes and conclusions are not applicable for the entire part of state. 2. Our census size was 93. So sampling error might occur or may not be accurate. 3. Many hospital M.Ds and H.R dept and owners of the bar did not entertain us and did not want to disclose their internal information to us. Some of the organizations made us wait for the appointment dates and hence it delayed the completion of our project.

SUGGESTIONS
1. The brand promotional techniques like activities, free service camps, stage shows etc. 2. IFB should be done more regularly to improve brand awareness. 3. Form new dealers to increase availability of IFB products at various places in Anakapalli and its surrounding areas. 4. Brand promotional initiatives like personal relation, direct contact with customers using distribution channel should be done. 5. Improve the ambience and POP in the stores having IFBS product means display IFB products in showrooms so that the customers mind can captured and sales can be promoted. 6. IFB need to create public awareness in market & incurred heavily on promotional activities 7. IFB has to maintain the existing offer like giving one year surf with washing machines should be continue.

CONCLUSION
1. The after sales service of the brand IFB is good. IFB is perceived as a Premium brand by the customers 2. Handful of dealers of IFB (availability of IFBS products at various places) is one of the major reasons for the lack of sale of IFBs products in Anakapalli area 3. IFB has not yet able to create good brand awareness in the minds of the customers 4. Most of the potential industrial customers of the product Industrial glass/dish Washer are reluctant to use or buy the product due to lack of need or various barriers like hardness of water, cheap labor etc. 5. From all the above mentioned details, it can be concluded that awareness of the brand is Limited to people, as compared to its competitors.
