EXPERIENCE
FIEA Graduate Student Technical Designer August 2011 Present Created visuals and prototypes of game systems with PhotoShop, Balsamiq, and XNA. Some ActionScript prototypes led to a complete game or a tool implemented into the engine. Working in UDK and Flash, I was coding A.I., pathing and player controls with UnrealScript and Kismet. Even had the opportunity to script in Kinect and motion capture technologies. Full Sail University Course Director December 2010 Present Mentored students on designing applications, looking at usability, UI/UX, and documenting. Instructed on development process including ActionScript, Flash, and Object-Oriented coding. Plainvue Software Lead Designer March 2008 March 2010 Led the design for game systems, detailing with visuals in Fireworks and PhotoShop. Also worked on the progression and development of tutorials inside of Torque. I prototyped the mechanics and systems using ActionScript and Flash; in some cases building for AIR on mobile. Then I worked on scripting and implementation in TorqueScript and Objective-C. Red Bull BUILD Associate Producer January 2006 September 2006 For the competition I designed all the systems and primary mechanics for the award-winning game, using visual designs (Fireworks) and sample ActionScript code to support the entry. During production I assisted with coding by scripting and iterating on the UI and mechanics.
