UNIT # 3: The cycle of nature and their changes UNIT AIMS: To describe water cycle and flora and fauna diversity through direct observation to interpret the carbon cycle to identify its elements NUMBER OF LESSONS IN THIS UNIT: 18 (3 - 4) NUMBER OF WEEKLY LESSONS: 2 DATE: Monday, May 21st 2012 LESSON AIMS: Lesson 3: To explain about oxygen and carbon cycle in nature. Lesson 4: To explain about the carbon cycle. ACTIVITIES: RESOURCES: Lesson 3: Science notebook 1.) Finish explaining the stages of drinking Science book water process. Dictionary 2.) Students open their books on page 32, they read the information they have there. 3.) The teacher explains any word and also teaches the new topic. 4.) A summary about the topic is done on the board. 5.) Students copy that summary in their notebooks and then, open their books on page 33 and read and analyze the information they have there with teacher's help. Lesson 4: 1.) Students open their books on page 34 and read the information. 2.) The teacher explains the class and does a summary on the board. 3.) Students copy that summary in their notebooks. 4.) Comprehension questions are asked.
