UNIT # 3: The cycle of nature and its changes UNIT AIMS: To describe water cycle and flora and fauna diversity through direct observation to interpret carbon cycle to identify its elements NUMBER OF LESSONS IN THIS UNIT: 18 NUMBER OF WEEKLY LESSONS: 2 (8 - 9) DATE: Monday, June 18th 2012 LESSON AIMS: Lesson 8: To practice for the exam. Lesson 9: To practice for the exam and to check organism relationships in forest biome. ACTIVITIES: RESOURCES: Lesson 8: Science notebook 1.) Tell them some questions so the students Science book can answer in groups or individually. Teacher's activity sheets 2.) Check answers with the class. Lesson 9: 1.) Finish checking the questions for the exam. 2.) Introduce new vocabulary about the class. Students open their books on page 42 and read the information they have there. 3.) The teacher explains the class and a short summary about it is done on the board. 4.) Students copy that summary in their notebooks. 5.) Comprehension questions are asked.
