PROJECT DESCRIPTION The proposed project shall develop the current knowledge of Agricultural Engineering student leader of the country. This summit will be the first ever gathering of future agricultural engineering leaders of the country that will create a union and a stronger bond between fellow student leaders. Technical workshops on different paper writings will be taught to delegates composing of Local, Regional and over all Presidents, Secretaries and Treasurers. Proper financial management workshops and lectures will also be done and team building activities. To ensure the sustainability of the project, local chapters will also be educated to conduct similar activities to their chapters. A PPG meeting will also take place. The summit will be involved with the following areas of leadership: 1) Technical Aspect. Proper Project proposal writing, plenary session practices, meeting proceedings writing, proper financial report writing, the creation of local news letters and the functions and obligations of the officers. 2) Ethical Aspect. The PSAE PPG constitution and by-laws, plagiarism and its consciences, the Agricultural Engineering Laws and work ethics.

PROJECT BACKGROUND Organizations are said to be the training ground for future leaders, leaders who will be a good example for the next generation of youth. It is but now, that students should act in accordance to what the current situations demand. Concurrently, agricultural engineering

students have the will to serve as student leaders in their respective localities, but not all have the proper knowledge on how and what their purposes are. This continues to their lack of formal training in technical writing works which disables the officers to a more systematic way of organizational management. Leaders summit are no longer new to the academic community, there are various leadership trainings and seminars organized by different organizations. But no such activities are made solely for agricultural engineering student leaders. This proposal has already been discussed by the current PSAE PPG officers and is in the good position to facilitate such action. This project will be a combination of the leadership skills and knowhow of PSAE PPG National Officers the expert advice and lectures of talk givers and the man power of local chapter of CLSU.

OBJECTIVES The main objective of the project is to provide a worthwhile activity that focus on the development of Agricultural Engineering Student leaders technical and ethical knowledge in leadership. Specifically the project envisioned to: a) b) c) d) To develop writing skills of PSAE PPG officers To improve the quality student Leaders of the PSAE PPG To increase students interest in providing selfless service to others To acquaint with fellow Agricultural Engineering Student leaders of the country and; e) To exchange views with current problems of the PSAE PPG and create possible solutions.

PROPOSED FUNDING SCHEME Option A: Counter-parting Scheme. The PSAE PPG National will provide for the resources for the information production and dissemination, while the delegates will pay for their accommodations and kits. Foods will be sponsored by private and public individuals in the community. Option B: Subsidized Scheme. The delegates will pay 50 percent of the actual fee and 50 percent shall be covered by the PSAE. Initial expenses (Information production and dissemination) shall be handled by the SAGES PSAE PPG. Option C: Sponsorship Scheme. PSAE PPG national shall look for private and public individuals and companies that shall sponsor for the said summit.
