Herb Ritchell Advertising/Public Relations Program Director hritche@luc.edu, 847.508.3518

I had the fortune of having Herb Ritchell as a professor this past spring for my Advertising class. Since he taught the class, he knows what I had to learn in order to pass the class. I have also worked with Herb outside of the classroom. I helped plan the Public Relations Reception for all Ad/PR Juniors and Seniors in the Spring under him. He knows how I work in preparation for an event and the actual event itself. He can attest to my hard work and my willingness to do what needs to be done. I also worked under him as a volunteer for the PRSA Midwest District Conference that was just held in July. Many top PR individuals attended this event so Herb was able to see how I interacted under pressure with other professionals during the event. Since it was

the first conference we had, there was a lot of pressure to do a good job. We succeeded with flying colors and set the bar high for future conferences.
