I. Organization Background The Western Group operates along the concepts of product management and profitability. These concepts ensure proper product segmentation vis-a-vis the specific niche market of the various outlets in measuring the revenue-profit performance of branch personnel. Ensuring a smooth flow of myriad stocks within and outside of the company premises in meeting sales objectives with the barest of delay and disruption, the Western Group places premium in maintaining an effective pool of resources namely: Provision of ample telephone lines (trunk line and direct), fax machines, Internet (email) and cellular phones to interconnect its corporate office to its branches and customers; Provision of satellite warehouses in key accessible areas of the metropolis were established in Asistio, Kalookan City; P. Tuazon in Cubao, Quezon City and in Las Pias City adhering to a sound inventory management to best serve and quickly deliver orders of customers; Provision of substantial fleet of delivery vans with occasional additional support from suppliers during peak season for quick conveyance and availability of stocks; Provision of an on-line computer integrated system as an effective control for sales, delivery and general accounting.
