o o o

Developing algorithm to use the directional property of smart antennas in best possible way in Ad Hoc Networks to increase the network capacity.

Determining methods for packet scheduling to minimize the effect of co-channel interference. Prioritize resource allocation for ad-hoc networks in emergency networks.

Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Institute of Technology and Management Gurgaon, India Graduate 2007- GPA: 67 on scale of 100

EXPERIENCE Student Assistant UMKC Information System Labs December 2010 Present Assisted students with issues related to their UMKC computer accounts. Operational support related to hardware and software of computers and other lab equipment Maintained a proper and disciplined lab environment and professionalism as required Communicating issues with the call center and the network administrators for any further assistance to the clients for any critical issues Sr. Wireless (BSS) Engineer - Huawei Telecommunication (India) Pvt. Ltd June 2007 - July 2010 (3 Years 1 month)

Wireless (BSS) Team Leader for CDMA/EVDO turnkey Project for TATA Teleservices Ltd., (2nd largest service operator providing services in the CDMA/EVDO RevA and GSM in India to more than 60 million subscribers). The project included deployment of more than 10,000 BTSs and around 50 BSCs in 14 telecom circles all over India.

Supported and supervised migration of TATA CDMA network from Motorola to Huawei which included pre-rollout testing, uninstallation of Motorola BTS/BSC, planning (Capacity, PN, Traffic and Neighbor Planning), installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Huawei NMS, BSC and BTS. Monitored capacity (KPI Reports) and optimized RF Network by resolving issues like Channel blocking, call drop, setup failure, handover failure, interference etc. to ensure coverage and quality of service. Configure the interface between RAN and Switches. Worked closely with Core network team on MSC, MGW, VLR etc. during the implementation and maintenance phases of the project. Implemented EVDO RevA network along with the already existing CDMA2000 network. Tested equipment for GSM/CDMA/EVDO technologies. Trained team members and peers on CDMA and EVDO Technologies and related equipment. Developed MOPs for the implementation of new features and version upgrades. Played key role in human resource management for the project, pre sales support and Customer Interface. Operated and maintained the network includes Configuration Management, Fault Management and System (Version) Up-gradation.

Additional Trainings Advanced Training in CDMA2000 and EVDO held at Mumbai, India. Fundamentals of GSM, WCDMA and WiMAX held at Pune, India. Implementation Training for WiMAX and LTE held at Mumbai, India Skills Tools: Pilot Panorama Drive Test Tool, MapInfo Professional, Opnet, Matlab, Wireshark, Feko, Wireless Technologies: GSM, CDMA, EVDO, IEEE 802.11, WiMAX, LTE, Bluetooth, MIMO Networking Protocols: Ethernet, TCP/IP, SS7, SIP Programming: MS Excel VBA, VB6 Academic/Research Projects Design of a Microstrip Patch Antenna In this project, two techniques, i.e. Resonant Frequency Technique and Dimensional Invariance, for the design of U-Slot Wideband Antenna has been evaluated. FEKO is used to simulate the antenna designs and get the results. GSM Network Design The objective of the project was to design a GSM network using the one of the practical models and other typical network parameters like fading margins, losses, gain etc. We have used Okumura-Hata Model for the design of given GSM network. Spectrum Sensing Techniques for Cognitive Radio The objective of the project was to analyze and compare the various available techniques for Spectrum Sensing in Cognitive Radio System. We have analyzed the Matched Filter, Cyclostationary Feature Detection and Energy Detection Methods. IEEE 802.11 Network Throughput Performance The objective of the project was to use the OPNET simulator to investigate the performance of 802.11
with changing parameters and numbers of users. It gave the understanding of what happens on a pernode basis in an 802.11 network.

Parametric study of a Amplitude-comparison Monopulse Radar In this project two cases i.e. uniform and non-uniform inter element spacing, have been taken into account to study the impact of different parameters on the Error Signal Voltage. Matlab is used to used for simulation to get the result.
