[Notes: With reference to Table 1.4, a cross-tab analysis has been done to analyse the relationship between the users and non-users and their age. The majority of the users come from the age group 40-49 (216 Users). This could be attributed to the following reasons: Modern technology and advancements in healthcare has led to longer average life expectancy. People in this day and life are more health conscious than their predecessors because of improved living conditions. In the past, people are only aware of healthcare products only when they fall ill. Currently they want to prevent getting such illness and take care of their health by taking precautionary steps. Generally people are more exposed to such medical devices because the older population (parents) have health problems.

Respondents in the age group below 40 have the most number buying the medical devices for their own use. This means that the younger generation are being more health conscious and more technologically inclined compared to the other age groups, knowing more about how the medical devices are operated. As for non-users, the age group below 40 has the most number of respondents showing that they do not need to use the medical devices since the respondents are at the age whereby they do not have much health problems that require the use of the medical devices even though they might be health conscious.]
