Sudit who resides in indore says that he openly smokes at public places although he is aware of the law, he further adds I do not know why people are making a big deal out of it. If they do not like the smell, then they should move. It is always a question of who comes first. If I sit in a place and start smoking, then whoever comes later has no right to ask me to put out my cigarette. The opposite, of course, applies as well. He said that there nothing much is done for smokers, he said only good thing is that cigarette penetration is good, where he goes he gets them. If cabin will be made he will smoke outside the cabins. 2. Mr. Rajesh said that he realized how badly he was harming others when his children coughed because someone smoked next to them. I can say that smoking is really bad and it should be banned in public places. What is needed is an awareness program for smokers to make them understand that how bad is smoking at public places for others, because many people are not mindful of that. Smokers think that if they are smoking how other people will get affected. I never smoke at publicly. For cabins his opinion is I dont think it is good option because people will not bother to go in cabins and smoke, but I personally will smoke only in cabins if they are available at feasible distance. Sandesh says that he have only one problem while smoking in public that if some relative would see him as he stays at small town Harda so he take precautions to not to smoke publicly and only smoke 2-3 km outside the town, regarding govt. ban on public smoking he says that doesnt matter at all, there is not a single person who bother about it. On cabins his opinion was that it is good idea but he doubt people will smoke there, in his opinion people over their will prefer to smoke near pan shop rather than fully equipped cabins, he himself will not go there. And also added that there is nothing been done in favor of smokers. 4. Himesh who stays in Bhopal says that there is a law and is aware of not smoking in public places but according to him even police itself smoke publicly, this law is of no use until it is implied strictly, so he says that he smoke very freely at public places if there will be smoking cabins by roadside and also the pan shop than he will prefer which will be near to him, He says

there is only benefit of smoking cabins in malls and such places because there mall staff follows strict rules of non-smoking, so he says it will be useful in malls because if we go for watching the movie than nearby we can smoke in cabins instead wasting time of going outside. On the point of addressing the needs of smokers he says that only one thing is good done i.e. the rule which is made by government do not implemented properly. 5. Gourav who stays in Pune while smoking he takes care that there are not much non smoker around him, if they are there than he ask them if they are having any problem of his smoking, on the question of cabin he says that he will surely smoke in cabins if they are located nearby and would have enough space, on point of asking that if there is strict rule on public smoking than he will go to cabins? He replied that it should be comfortable otherwise than also he will not follow the rule. He says there he cant think of even one point that anything good is been done to address the need of the smokers but he also added that what is the requirement of addressing the need as it is bad habit , we are at least getting cigarettes that is more than enough. 6. Ashish who lives in Noida says that he generally smoke with his college friends and also with them who are non-smokers so he says that those who dont smoke and have problem from passive smoking they themselves can move away, everybody have this much sense. On cabin he said that who bother to smoke in cabin, what is wrong in smoking outside in open. Only good this is done for smoker that we get wide variety of cigarettes so we can always have option for trying new one. 7. Sumit who stays in Khandwa says that while smoking in open place he only bother about the colleagues and other business friends that they should not see him because it will have affect his image and he also says that if cabin concept will arrive in India it will have to face many problem of being over crowded or else Government will have to expense very heavy amount which is not at all worth, he says he will surely smoke in cabins. He says no need is addressed of smokers although he has freedom of smoking in public which is good. 8. One of my friend says that smoking is not at all bad thing, although it is injurious for health but the pleasure getting out of it is better option he will prefer rather than health, in the public places he only look for Company who could join him for smoking if he is alone. He further add that it is very good way of relation building because two unknown people who are smokers can

easily start conversation with the help of their common preference ie smoking. On cabin he says that it is also very good option to meet new people and only that benefit he could seek out of it. He says that all the needs of smokers are addressed as there is not even a single problem when we want to smoke so what else somebody wants that we can smoke freely and get cigarettes easily without any restrictions. 9. Nimesh whose age is 17 says that he never smoke in public as he is afraid that if some relative would see him, I asked him as you are not an adult than do you get cigarette easily, he replied yes why I will have problem, any pan shop I goes and I ask for cigarette and they easily give me, but one year before when I started smoking at that time some shopkeeper do ask me questions that who want cigarette and all that but to them I always reply that it is for my bhaiya and I get them. He says that there all there smoking needs are already addressed but one thing he said that there should be some kind of product like anti-cigarette which help in leaving the habit of cigarette. 10. Ashirwad who stays in Jabalpur says that he smokes in public places, while walking on road, on pan shops and even while driving bike. He also totally reject cabin concept as it will require much effort and people dont want that, he said that this concept will totally fail even though government will become very strict for public smoking. He was very resistive with smoking cabins. He said that no need is being addressed for smoker, tax and all types of duties on cigarette is very high and in this year budget also more tax is imposed so it became 1 more rupee costly.
