Step by Step
1. Create simple beam using Template
Step 1-1: Start SAP2000 and Select Working Unit Start up screen of SAP2000, select working unit to be Ton-m at drop-down menu on the bottom-right of screen and click on New Model button to start new model with template

2. Define Material
Step 2-1: Change Working Unit Select working unit to be kg, cm, C from second drop-down at right-bottom of screen

Step 6-2: Specify Prestress Load and Tendon Properties Go to Assign >> Frame/Cable/Tendon Loads >> Tendon Loads and specify parameters as shown in figure below.

8. Run Analysis
Step 8-1: Set Analysis Options Go to Analyze >> Set Analysis Options and select XZ Plane

Step 8-2: Start Analysis Go to Analyze >> Run Analysis, select MODAL from the list and click on Run/Do Not Run Case to stop MODAL analysis case from running. Click on Run Now
