This Standard was prepared by the Joint Australia /New Zealand Standards Committee ME/67 on
Mobility Appliances for People with Disabilities. It is identical with and has been reproduced from
ISO 7176-11:1992, Wheelchairs — Part 11: Test dummies. This Standard is one of a series of
methods of test and measurement of wheelchairs. These are proposed to be Joint Australian/
New Zealand Standards at the next review.
Under arrangements made between Standards Australia and the International Standards bodies ISO
and IEC, as well as certain other Standards organizations, users of this Standard are advised of the
following:
(a) Copyright is vested in Standards Australia.

1 Scope 3 Specification

This part of ISO 7176 specifies the construction of The four mass classes of the dummy are 100 kg,
test dummies with nominal masses of 25 kg, 50 kg, 75 kg, 50 kg and 25 kg. The main construction of the
