Note: For more information on the MML command, refer to Online Help of MML command Client of the O&M system.
A downloaded data configuration file takes effect after NodeB reset. Consequently, the maintenance channel IP address in the file replaces the original IP address. If the new IP address is different from the original one, LMT disconnects itself from NodeB. In that case, it is necessary to exit from LMT O&M system and log in again. During the login process, add a new office whose IP address is the maintenance channel IP address recorded in section 3.2.4.

Chapter 5 Troubleshooting
Chapter 5 Troubleshooting
5.1 Overview
This chapter gives handling suggestions for the problems accruing in the LMT software installation and data configuration file installation through LMT, including: Troubleshooting LMT Software Installation Problems Troubleshooting Software Installation Problems at a new NodeB through LMT
I. An error message is displayed, prompting that conflicting software exists or conflicting program is in service.
Cause: Upon the program initialization, the program detects that conflicting software exists or conflicting program is in service. Handling suggestion: Remove the conflicting software or quit the conflicting program as prompted. Reinstall the LMT software.
Chapter 5 Troubleshooting
Handling suggestion: Press <Ctrl> + <Alt> + <Delete> to quit the installation and end the tasks without response. Restart the setup.exe. If the keyboard does not respond, restart your computer and reinstall the LMT software.
Check whether input command parameters (including source path and source file name) are correct.
If so, go to next step. If not, modify the parameters and perform the operation once again.
2)
Check whether the download path (including physical connection and board status on the download path) is correct.
If so, go to next step. If not, refer to Troubleshoot manual and Alarm Online Help and troubleshoot the problem. Perform the operation once again.
3)
Check whether the settings of DIP switches and jumpers on boards and backplanes are correct.
If so, go to next step. If not, refer to Board Manual and Installation Manual and set the DIP switches and jumpers again. Perform the operation once again.
4)
Replace the board with a new one. Check whether the operation succeeds.
If so, the board is faulty. Replace the board. If not, go to next step.
5)
If there is no standby slot, contact Huawei technical support engineers. Otherwise, install the original board into the standby slot and check whether the operation succeeds.
