DETAILS OF THE PROJECTS WORKED ON 01 Client Computer Associates, USA. Description of the project : Automation testing SiteMinder is a directory-enabled, J2EE based application from Netegrity(Now acquired by Computer Associates) that can work with heterogeneous Web and application servers, operating systems, and application development platforms. The project involved automating the various test cases using the STI & WTI framework. PERL was used as the coding language.

Role : Automation Testing Engineer Responsibility : a) We are a team of 5 members and our goal is to automate the testing Of CA products. I am one of the senior test engineer in my team and Responsible of deliverables successfully & timely. b) Involved in providing weekly updates to the client, and involved in deciding the future roadmap for the various activities to be taken up. c) Reviewing the test scenarios and scripts created by the team members. d) To design, document, manage and execute the test cases and suites. e) To raise defects for the various bugs reported and closely track their Status. f) To analyze the feasibility of the various test cases for carrying out the automation. g) To establish automated test environment for both UI based and non UI based testing. h) To write test scripts in Perl to carry out the functional automation testing of the product. i) To implement functional browser transaction based testing using the Automation framework. j) To carry out UI based automation testing in multiple browsers using the tool, Selenium Core and Selenium RC. k) To integrate and maintain the automated test cases into the nightly harness system. l) Currently working at building the existing test framework to carry out the automation more extensively using tools like QTP.
