INTRODUCTION TO GRP
Composites is a physical mixture two or more materials giving combined properties to the final product. e.g. concrete FRP is Fibre Reinforced Plastics (a composites) where Fibre could be natural (jute, banana, etc) or manmade (glass, carbon, aramide, etc) and resin could be thermoplastics (nylon, PP, etc) or thermoset (polyester, vinylester, epoxy) . Resin gives the shape and various properties while reinforcement imparts strength to the product. Various additives are added to meet end requirement. GRP is Glassfibre Reinforced Plastics.

GRP SMC FLAT PANELS

GRP (SMC) FLAT PANELS

Hot Pressed SMC Flat Panels are used for constructing temporary, semi-permanent and permanent structures. The flat panels are moulded in 1.0m x 1.0m; 1.0m x 0.5m and 0.5m x 0.5m sizes and are used for side walls. 1.0m x 1.0m domed shapes panels are used for roof. 1.0m length corner post is used at corner during assembly.

o Easy to assemble, dismantle and relocate no need of mechanised cranes/ hydra or fork-lifts. o Light weight less erection & transportation cost. o Easy to palletise less transportation cost o Excellent Dimensional Stability. o Termite, Rodent & Borer Proof. o UV Protected. o Corrosion Resistance. o Insulating material (thermal conductivity 1/240 of steel). o Non-conductive o Fire retardant - Conforming to UL 94 V0 STD. o High temp resistant (HDT>2200C)
