Alumni Tracer

Software Development and Information System for Actual Client. Far Eastern University East Asia College also known as FEU-EAC was originated way back 1992. From today handling huge collection of students data is really difficult to manage for compiling for alumni publication or other purpose. Manual process of gathering information might cause lot problems and confusion. FEU-EAC holds a huge collection of data. They have issues on handling those data, the solutions for those issues is to have a system that can handle the data automatically. The system will have some of the following features:

Login and logout Personal account for each alumni graduates Forms(Personal and questionnaire) for updates of their profile Alumni search Job updates

School announcement and events

Reason for Choice of Study: FEUEAC is handling to many file of alumni graduates using such as software called MS

Excel, managing all the data, giving the alumni taking for making it an alternative solution. The proponent decided to work on the capstone project because they knew that this could help the client for them to use it for the future. The group conducted an interview for them to be able to know the procedure and other information that will help them in making the system. MS Excel is not enough to manage all the information system of all alumni graduates of FEUEAC because of huge collection of data, it will be difficult for them to gather all the information and it is time consuming. So we proposed a system that will enhance their capability of storing datas of all alumni graduates. Other problems that they have encounter: Gathering all the information Communication to Alumni graduates Manual search of specific profile of Alumni graduates Announcing of events

Importance significance of the Study:

The propose study will help us to have a deeper understanding to the said programming language. And by this study they will come up with easier and powerful program.
