Plastics are highly resistant to corrosion because they are non-metallic and so there is no galvanic (electrochemical), aerobic, pitting and inter-granular corrosion mechanisms possible with plastics. But plastics alone cannot be used for many load applications like tanks and vessels because their low strength and modulus property which is more pronounced at high temperatures (say, above 60 degrees). So technology of reinforcing plastics with fibres of high strength and stiffness evolved and perfected. FRP are plastics reinforced with stiff and strong glass fibres. Now FRP is considered as new generation construction material for chemical process plant equipments.
Fibreglass resists a wide range of chemicals and temperatures, but it requires the right design, fabrication and installation to match the appropriate application corrosion resistant process face of PP, PVC, ECTFE, FEP, PVDF, etc., i.e. a thermoplastic chemical barrier lining which is bonded to FRP structure. Simply it is a combination of excellent chemical resistance of thermoplastics and moderate mechanical properties of FRP.
Corrosion resistance, moderate strength and ease of fabrication make composites, particularly glass reinforced plastics, admirably suitable for process plant applications. Large, complex GRP components are readily produced in small quantities and the installed cost of GRP plant is highly competitive with that manufactured from other more traditional materials, e.g. stainless steel, rubber-lined steels, etc. Storage tanks, pressure vessels, pipe work, stacks and ducting systems are available from a number of organizations and there are numerous examples of successful operations over many years.

CHEMICAL PROCESS EQUIPMENTS

We produce quality fiber glass reinforced chemical process equipments as per standards BS/ASTM/JIS/AS/ASME/RTP, to a maximum 8 to 10 bar pressure with all internal and external accessories based as per the client requirements. The MOC will be as per the service conditions, and vessels will be supplied in all thermosetting and thermoplastic lined plastics.
CPE are seamless moulded structure of Glass Fiber Reinforced with various grades of resin. Like (Polyesters, Vinyl esters, Epoxies, Furanes, Phenolics), with Thermoplastic liners (PP, PP-H, PVC, CPVC, PVDF, ECTFE, FEP and PFA). Manufactured by contact moulding and helical filament winding in compliance with international design standard BS 4994, ASME RTP , ASME section X, ASTM D (3299, 4097, 3517, 3982, 4167, 2634, 3982).
Can be supplied with fire-retardant and ultra violet resistant additives as per specific requirement, outside layer can be provided with pigment colour as per the requirements Can be suitable for using Highly Corrosive Chemicals at maximum temperature up to 3000 centigrade. Can be designed for pressure and vacuum conditions. FRP CHEMICAL STORAGE TANKS

We produce quality fiber glass reinforced chemical tanks ( FRP tanks ) as per BS/ASTM/JIS/AS/ASME standards, and supplied with standard accessories as per client requirement. Which are an outstanding economical value, when compared to conventional steel tanks. We use special grade of resins to achieve different properties. Our high grade resins can withstand strong acids and temperatures up to 300C. Proper reinforcement is provided according to the size shape of tanks. Any thickness and shape could be achieved as per the requirement.

Supplied with double wall construction, Designed for above and underground applications. Thermoplastic welded joint with conductive layer.
