Customer Profile
The late 1980s saw the Thai economy expanding at doubledigit rates. Various business sectors were growing rapidly and the healthcare industry was no exception. With growth came sophistication and more stringent requirements from the customers for quality products and services. It was to fulfill these demands that CMC Biotech Co.,Ltd was born in 1991 to give greater emphasis to customer service, efficiency and effectiveness for Toshiba medical equipment. By that time, its predecessor CMC Co.,Ltd had served the medical professionals for nearly 30 years (since 1963). As a joint-venture company, CMC Biotech Co.,Ltd was able to take advantage of its close affiliation with many companies in the region and build upon that network of esteemed customers to grow from strength to strength. The company has grown into one of the leading medical systems suppliers in the country. From its initial focus on the Toshiba Medical Equipment business, CMC Biotech Co.,Ltd has diversified into equipment for other departments of medicine through its wholly-owned subsidiary Thai GL Co.,Ltd in 1994 with renown brands like Konica, DMS, Agfa, Mennen and Schiller.

The solution
CMC Biotech is offering hospitals and medical centers the Gamatronic Medical PS-SP power systems with 60kVA to 200kVA capacity. These UPS systems ensure continuity while protecting the invaluable medical equipment. As a result offering the patients constant professional services. These X ray machines, CT scanner, MRI scanners, CATH labs etc demand high performance due to heavy loads created by the electrical and mechanical activity of the medical equipment. The Gamatronic R&D team of engineers customized the robust Micro PS SP solution, to perfectly suit the medical equipment need of reliable continuity.

UPS SP
The PS-SP series features a three-phase online doubleconversion UPS systems with a power range of 6kVA to 200kVA. It is available in stand-alone and parallel configurations, in both 3/1 and 3/3 models. The system supplies high quality, stabilized sine-waves signals. A static switch provides the optimal solution for output inrush current and overload problems. All parameters (input/ output voltage, currents, frequencies, DC voltage, and temperatures) are measured and shown in an LCD display. All information may be sent to the host computer through an RS232 interface, with SNMP management.
