NETS S Presentation Assignment

Assignment: Create a Tool: Student will use: Prezi presentation that demonstrates knowledge of the 2007 ISTE NETS-S and the performance indicators (for Technologically Literate students) for a specific grade range.

Content Requirements:

Go to the Profiles for Technology Literate Students (can be found on the ISTE website or linked on class blog) Choose a grade range that you may want to teach and select 4 (out of 10) of the performance indicators (based on the standards, but not the standards themselves) to discuss. Each performance indicator will get its own grouping/frame (on Prezi) Give each frame set a title with the NETS-S Reference number and discuss how this might be accomplished in YOUR classroom. (For Example: 1. Illustrate and communicate original ideas and stories using digital tools and media rich resources: I will. . .) Include a relevant graphic image to each slide or frame and/or a Video that supports your idea!

Technical Requirements
What must be included? -The title of the lesson (which should allude to the objective of the lesson) -The grade level/range you are addressing -Include a hyerplink or text address to the ISTE NETS for students -Your name -Make it visually pleasing! Using the Forms feature of GoogleDocs, you will create a survey that allows your peers to assess your presentation. Your peers will assess you on: -Content Requirements -Technical Requirements -Overall Presentation You should use at least three question types (short answer, checkbox, scale, multiple choice, etc.) and between 4-7 questions. Here is what needs to be included: -Name -at least one content question -at least one technical aspect question -one or two other questions. You need at least three peers to take your assessment.

Assessment

Professor will model how to use GoogleForms in class. You will be presenting your presentations to a small group of your peers, who will then take the assessment.
