Visualizing the body as empty

Method See the physical body with all of its contents melt into light, then See the skin as clear or transparent blue or red but empty like the rainbow, then, See the inside of the body, from head to toes, as clear and empty.

Visualizing the channels and centers

Channels for meditation There are three channels: 1. The central channel starts from the secret place (sacral center) straight up to the crown center and then curve around to the front and end at the third eye. 2. The right channel starts from the secret place (sacral center) straight up to the crown center and then curve around to the front and end at the right nostril. 3. The left channel starts from the secret place (sacral center) straight up to the crown center and then curve around to the front and end at the left nostril. The right and left channels form: 1. One knot at the navel center, 2. Three knots at the heart center, 3. One knot at the throat center, and 4. One knot at the crown center. The right, left channels joint at the secret place and the third eye.

In some system, the navel center is actually at the sacral area while the secret place is at base region of the spine or the base of the sexual organ.

The characteristics of the channels

The left channel (speech) is: white, clear and transparent, flexibly soft, and the sun.

The central channel (mind) is: blue outside and oily red inside, clear and transparent, very straight, and flexibly soft

The right channel (body) is: red clear and transparent, flexibly soft, and the moon

The practice

Now concentrate on visualizing the central channel that runs down the centre of your body as straight, hollow, about the size of an arrow-shaft. Expand the visualization until the channel becomes large enough to contain the universe. Again, shrink your visualized image until the hollow channel is no more than one-hundredth the thickness of a human hair.

Travel within the central channel

The practice See yourself within the neural drop at the heart center. Inspect the heart center. Travel up the central channel to the throat center. Inspect the throat center. Travel up the central channel to the crown center. Inspect the crown center. Travel down the central channel to the navel center. Inspect the navel center. Travel to the entering wind at the secret place. Note: always return the neural drop back to the heart before ending the practice.

Vase breath (igniting the flame of the letter A)

The practice 1. Inhale the prana (upper air)by: a. fill up the belly, and then b. fill up the lung. 2. Once the lung is full, a. Pressing the air below the navel, b. Contract the sphincter muscle to bring the apana (lower air) to the secret place, c. Hold the prana and apana at the navel center as long as possible. 3. Exhale in two phases: a. slowly at first, and then b. toward the end of the expiration empty the lung forcefully.

Vase breath visualization in four stage

1. 2. 3. 4.

Inhale, Filling, Dissolving, and Shooting.

Inhale

Visualize the prana is being drawn into the nostrils from a distance of a about ten inches from the nose

Filling

Visualize the prana inflate the right and left channel.

Dissolving

Visualize the letter A between the secret place and the navel center inside the central channel 1. draws the prana (from the right and left channel) and apana (from the lower contraction) into the central channel, and then 2. dissolve both airs into the letter A inside the central channel by holding the prana and apana between the navel center and the secret place as long as possible.

Shooting

At exhalation, visualize both dissolving airs at the letter A shoot up the central channel like an arrow.

Causing the inner fire to blaze

The four phases of breathing cycle In the breathing cycle, there are four phases of breath: 1. Inhalation breath entering the body. 2. Breath retention breath stay in the body. 3. Exhalation breath leaving the body. 4. No breath breath is not in the body.

Causing the inner fire to blaze, Continued

The kiss of the higher and lower force The kiss of the higher and lower force occurs at two places during the four phases breathing cycle: 1. Compression during the breath retention phase: a. Bringing the upper force and lower force to the letter A inside the central channel. b. The letter A becomes transparent and hot as the two forces dissolve into one with the letter A. 2. Compression during the no breath phase: a. Bringing the upper force and lower force to the letter A inside the central channel. b. The letter A becomes transparent and hot as the two forces dissolve into one with the letter A.

The Blazing

The result of the repeat kissing of the higher and lower force at the letter A between the secret place and the navel center inside the central channel, the letter A becomes: 1. transparently colorless, 2. hot, 3. brilliant (blazing), and then 4. the flash of transparently colorless, hot and brilliant spread (shooting) upward within the central channel. Note: 1. The blazing is transparently colorless, hot and brilliant but: a. it does not burn. b. it is soothing, comfortable and blissful. 2. There are the type of flashes: a. the flash of transparently colorless, hot and brilliant that fills the central channel. b. the flash of transparently colorless, hot and brilliant that fills the body. c. the flash of transparently colorless, hot and brilliant that fills the environment. Of these three flashes, the flash within the central channel is that matter the most. 3. The letter A is oneself.

Blazing and Dripping

HAM and A The letter HAM at the crown center is always cool. The letter A between the secret place and the navel center inside the central channel is very hot but very comfortably blissful.

Blazing

1. With holding vase breath, the blissful and fiery heat at the tip of the letter A at the navel center blaze upward. 2. With holding vase breath, the blissful and fiery heat from the navel center ascends to the heart center and wraps around the letter HUM. 3. With holding vase breath, the blissful and fiery heat from the navel center ascends to the throat center and wraps around the letter OM. 4. With holding vase breath, the blissful and fiery heat from the navel center ascends to the head center and wraps around the letter HAM. Note: Holding vase breath can be breath retention or no breath phase.

Dripping

1. As the blissful and fiery heat wraps around the letter HAM, The letter HAM begins to melt and starting to drip refreshingly cool and clear drops down the

central channel. 2. As the refreshingly cool and clear drops reach the throat Center, these drops dissolve into the letter OM; and then these drops begin to drip out of the letter OM down the central channel. 3. As the refreshingly cool and clear drops reach the heart Center, these drops dissolve into the letter HUM; and then these drops begin to drip out of the letter HUM down the central channel. 4. As the refreshingly cool and clear drops reach the navel Center, these drops dissolve into the transparently colorless, hot and brilliant letter A which cause the letter A to become more fierily transparent, colorless and hot.

Extraordinary blazing and dripping

The coiling of the flame 1. With holding vase breath, the blissful and fiery heat at the tip of the letter A at the navel center blaze upward as a needle of flame. 2. With holding vase breath, the blissful and fiery needle of flame from the navel center ascends to the heart center and wraps around the letter HUM. 3. With holding vase breath, the blissful and fiery needle of flame from the navel center ascends to the throat center and wraps around the letter OM. 4. With holding vase breath, the blissful and fiery needle of flame from the navel center ascends to the head center and wraps around the letter HAM. 5. With holding vase breath, the blissful and fiery needle of flame from the navel center ascends to the head center and wraps around the letter HAM. Instead of melting the white drop, the needle flame brings it to the verge of melting and then continues through the central channel, arching downwards to the third eye. 6. When the needle like flame reach the third eye, it shine forth from the third eye and pervade and purifying the phenomena space. Note: Holding vase breath can be breath retention or no breath phase.

The coiling of the flame and the purification of existence

1. The needle flame of the inner fire shines forth from the third eye pervading existence. 2. The light of the inner fire purifies and melts all phenomena into a small sphere of blue light. 3. Outside of the blue light are the fathers and mothers in yab-yum (Buddhas of three time and ten directions). 4. The blue light emanates brilliance blue rays toward each divine couple and enters the left nose of each father. 5. This blue ray then dissolves into the indestructible drop within the heart channelwheel of each couple thereby causing them to experience uncontaminated great bliss. 6. This great bliss experience by each couple causes them to melt into light. The father melts into white drop and the mother into red drop. These two drops melt into one single white drop with reddish tint (the nature of the great bliss). 7. All these white drops with reddish tint melt together become one drop and enter the third eye and arches up the central channel to head center and melts into the letter HAM the letter HAM is one with the uncontaminated great bliss of the purify universe and the Buddhas of three time and ten directions . 8. Repeat ordinary blazing and dripping.

The 8 spokes above are further divided into 3 spokes of mind, speech and body. Mind Speech Body Color Blue Red White The flow of Wind Red drops White drops Note: each of these spoke/channel goes to different part of the body.

The 72 and 72000 spokes

Each of the 24 spokes above split into 3 elements of wind, red and white drops. Each of the 72 spokes split into 1000 channels.

The central channel and the 72000

In normal human the winds flow through most of these channels with the exception of the central channel. As long as the winds continue to flow in the peripheral channels they continue to activate the various negative conceptions that trap beings in cyclic existence.

The winds and the central channel

3 stages of winds in the central channel 1. Winds enter the central channel 2. Winds abide in the central channel 3. Winds dissolve in the central channel

Signs for entering

When the winds enter the central channel: 1. The timing of the breath is the same for both nostrils during inhalation as that of exhalation, and 2. The pressure of the breath is the same for both nostrils during inhalation as that of exhalation.

Signs for abiding

When the winds abide in the central channel: 1. The breath will become weaker and eventually will cease completely, and 2. All abdominal movement normally associated with the breath will stop.

Signs for dissolving

When the winds dissolve in the central channel: The type of wind dissolve in the central Associated perception channel 1. The earth element wind dissolves into Mirage like appearance water element 2. The water element wind dissolves Smoke like appearance into fire element 3. The fire element wind dissolves into Fireflies wind element 4. The wind element wind dissolves into Burning like a butter lamp perception (consciousness) 5. The wind mounted by the mind of Light of the full moon in an empty sky white increase 6. The wind mounted by the mind of red Pervading red light of the sun at dusk or increase dawn in an empty sky 7. The wind mounted by the mind of Starless and moonless empty sky night black near attainment (perception dissolves into awareness) Note: After the perception of burning like a butter lamp, all the gross conception cease because the winds they are mounted on have dissolved and disappeared. The empty perception is stronger than the colors.

8th Signs for abiding

Clear light: The heart knots loosened The red drop move from the heart to the head center The white drop moves from the heart to the navel center
