Autumn Courses

This Autumn, we are running two courses at Springfield:

22nd July Hosted by the Cole Cell The Marriage Course is for couples who want to take a positive step in their relationship. Its a chance to relax together over a meal, to listen to a talk and then to discuss the subject raised with each other. Its a personal, private and valuable time together. All Age Worship living in Exile
Daniel 1 Welcome to our Service, particularly if you are with us for the first time today. Please do join us for tea and coffee after the service. There is a welcome desk in the foyer with more information about the churchs activities

The Alpha Course is for everyone who wants to find out more about Christianity, and to ask the difficult questions in a friendly and relaxed environment, with food, a talk and discussion groups plus one day away. Courses start in September: more details soon

The childrens places in years 2 and 3 are now completely full: its first come, first served for the others. Ring Chris to reserve your place before sending your form in Even if you can't be involved in the Holiday Club please do book your place for the bbq on Sun 5th at the welcome desk or the church office; when you can help us to chat with families who came to the Holiday Club. One of the games needs swimming flippers: if you have some child/youth size ones you could donate, please let Chris know

Al Golder thanks the members of Springfield Church for their prayers and thoughts during his recent illness and for the support given to Rachael and the family at this worrying time. Further treatment is thought to be unnecessary and, with Gods help, we pray his health will continue to improve

caf connect
Through the summer period, cafe connect will continue to run every Monday Morning from 10.30 am to 12 noon in the Wallington Library Cafe. There will always be at least one member of staff there to deal with any issues for the office etc, but its also a great chance to relax and meet with other members of our Springfield community

Together Time
Our Springfield congregations join for two of our summer services: on the 5th of August at WHSG for our holiday club service and BBQ, then on the 19th August at St Pauls, Roundshaw for a morning worship service
