WERE HEADED TO TURNER VALLEY!

Helen has graduated from the School of Biblical Studies at YWAM Montana, and Michael has completed his year of stafng this amazing school; now were on our way to both being on staff with SBS at YWAM Turner Valley!
God has done so much in us over the last nine months. He has shone His Truth into our lives and hearts, helping us to come to a greater understanding of our reliance on Him. He brought us through ups (revelations of Gods goodness, trustworthiness, and sovereignty, as well as the opportunity to meet fantastic people from all over the world) and downs (visa issues, an extremely strenuous study schedule) throughout the year, and now that weve nished our time in Montana, we see Gods hand in it all. We thank and glorify God for an amazing year, and the opportunity to seek Him and spend time in His Word - something that millions of Christians throughout the world long for.

We are so blessed that our time with YWAM and SBS is not over! We have made a two-year commitment to stafng with the SBS in Turner Valley, where we will teach Gods Word to people from multiple nations. As we prepare for this ministry, we are excited to share the gift that God has given us - knowledge of His Word - with those who will take the Gospel to the corners of the earth. As we wrapped up our time in Montana, it was so encouraging to see that Helens fellow students will be taking the Gospel to every continent (except Antarctica!), because they have come to know the Bible in a deep and life-changing way, and long to share Jesus with the world! We expect nothing less from our time with YWAM Turner Valley - we will be teaching and discipling world-changers! We arrive in Turner Valley at the end of July to prepare for staff training, but there is much to do in the meantime. During our three weeks in Ontario we will be speaking at two churches, hope to host a Missions Information Night, are having a garage sale, will be purchasing a vehicle, and will be helping Michaels parents move to another town! During this busy time, and as we look ahead to stafng with Turner Valley, we covet your prayers. Turn the page for some specic ways you can pray for us:

Summer 2012

1. Our Time in Ontario We have much to do during our time in Ontario, but our main focus is to connect with as many family and friends as possible! We are looking forward to hearing all that God has been up to in the lives of our family and friends over the last year, and ask that you would pray that we use our time effectively!! 2. Safe Travel On July 23rd we will be leaving southern Ontario to visit Michaels family in northern Ontario for a couple of days before beginning our trek across the country. We will be camping our way across Canada, and are aiming to arrive in Turner Valley on July 30th. Please pray that our travels will go smoothly and safely, and that we will nd all the cheapest gas stations! 3. Finances As many of you will know from Facebook and our blog, we are trusting God for a signicant amount of money for a vehicle and for the costs of traveling across Canada. To date, we still need $1800 to come in to cover these costs. We Helen at SBS graduation are hoping that by the time you get this newsletter, you can be thanking God with with her certicate! us that we already have a vehicle (provided the nances come in). We will need to see the funds for our trip come in prior to July 23. In addition, YWAM Turner Valley suggests a minimum of $1000 of monthly support for staff couples (YWAM staff do not receive paychecks; our salaries come from nancial partners who believe in our mission to teach the Bible and reach the world with the Gospel). This suggested monthly support is quite a bit more money than we receive at present, but God is bigger than our nancial needs, and we are trusting He will guide us as we seek His provision. Please join with us in praying for people to partner with us as we transition to stafng in Turner Valley. If you feel God is calling you to give, please see below for more details.
