1. WHAT IS THE STATUS OF PHASE 1 OF THE WOLBI JEJU PROJECT?

3 Dormitory Houses are under roof. Each has 3 floors. #1 & 2 are completed. One floor of #3 is temporarily being used as a classroom. Maintenance Building is completed but is temporarily being used as the kitchen. The foundation cement pad for the Student Cafetorium has been laid (including the tubing for
electric and plumbing).

Dormitory House #3 needs electric wiring and lights for the bottom floor, all plumbing fixtures (2
small bathrooms) for two of the three floors and all interior walls on the top and bottom floor. It also needs the supplies to install a heated floor system in the bottom floor.

We need to build the Student Cafetorium. The walls for this building will be built out of logs. The roof will be built with wood trusses with a steel I-beam down the middle. It will be roofed with asphalt shingles.
2. HOW WILL THE PROJECT BE USED? When Phase I is completed we will be able to handle 250 in the Student Cafetorium.* This will be used as a kitchen/dining facility and offices as well as a Bible Institute classroom. It can also be used for summer camps. The 3 dormitories each have 3 housing units, each able to handle 10 students or one staff family. 3. WHY THIS PROJECT IS NEEDED? As you can see in the attached pictures classes are being held on one floor of a dormitory (we left most of the interior walls out to do this), meals are being cooked in a maintenance garage made into a kitchen, students are eating meals in a greenhouse tent and the office is in a construction container. Other than the dorm rooms, the only place students can be to study, fellowship and get internet is the 1000 sq. ft. classroom. This area also houses our library. This limits us to handle a maximum of 40 students. All of that would change, if we were able to complete Phase 1 by finishing dormitory #3 and building the Student Cafetorium. Completing Phase 1 will also make a tremendous impact on the recruitment and experience of students here. Over 60% of the worlds population live in Asia. The Jeju campus is less than a 2-hour flight from Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Beijing, Shanghai, Taipei and 12 other cities each with over 5 million people. Training 50, 150, 250 students each year at WOLBI Jeju who are either Asian or have a passion for Asia, to know Gods Word and to minister in this cross-cultural venue as Gods emissaries would make a difference in this strategic area. *In Phase 2 when we add 4 more dormitories we will be able to handle 150 students in the dormitories. And in Phase 3 when we add 5 final dorms and a
separate classroom building we will be able to handle 250 students.

4. HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

$35,000 to complete house/dormitory #3. This includes electrical wiring, light and plumbing
fixtures, a heated floor system and hot water heaters, tile and floor covering and the interior wall materials.

$210,000 for the materials to build the 5000 sq. ft. Cafetorium. This includes all the logs, the
trusses, the wood to build porches, the exterior windows and doors, and the roofing material.

Just under $50,000 for taxes, shipping and trucking fees. An additional $30,000 to complete the Cafetorium with electric, plumbing, light and plumbing
fixtures, a heated floor system, a venting system for the kitchen and tile for the bathroom and kitchen.

I am adding an additional $25,000, which is just under 10% of the total project as we will have to
provide additional food and transportation costs for the work teams who will come for the duration of the project (over 100 people last year) as well as some equipment purchase and rental. We will need to rent equipment to lift the I-beam into place. And then with a project this big there will be some additional costs along the way. This brings us to a TOTAL of $350,000 to complete Phase 1.

5. WHAT IS AN ESTIMATED TIMELINE FOR THE PROJECT?

Lord willing, By December 31, 2011 to have at least $295,000 raised or promised. By May 7, 2012 to begin recruiting

volunteer teams (12-20 per team) to come and build (33% with construction experience, 33% heavy lifters and 33% helpers).

By June 15, 2012 to make payments of $35,000 for the completion of house/dorm #3 and $210,000 for materials for the Student Cafetorium. By July 15, 2012 to have completed payment of $50,000 for the taxes and shipping fees. By August 1, 2012 to begin receiving work teams for the construction of the Student Cafetorium. Lord willing, the project would be
completed by October 31, 2012.

6. ARE THERE ANY POTENTIAL ROADBLOCKS? Honestly, we already have everything in place to complete what has been significantly started here. The hard part (permits, water, main electric system, approvals, septic system) for Phase #1 has been completed. The biggest roadblock is the finances to complete this project.

7. WHY LOGS FROM AMERICA IN KOREA? We have chosen logs because a cement building built by Korean labor is about the same price as a log house built by volunteers. And the wood buildings have a resale value of three times the cement buildings. The logs and stone match our environment here with a number of log homes and even hotels in our area. We have chosen to go with Lincoln Logs (lincolnlogs.com) because they are in the top 10% of log companies who ship internationally. We knew people who work for Lincoln and trust them (one being a WOL club leader we in Ohio). They gave us a good product at a good price, compared to other companies including those on the west coast in California, Oregon, Washington and both British Columbia and Alberta, Canada.
