Roanne Lee July 17, 2012 Cintrifuse // CincyFuse Cintrifuse is looking to be the collaborative force within Cincinnatis start-up

community. As it looks to create an urban campus in Over-the-Rhine, Cintrifuse must determine how it will use the space to best facilitate entrepreneurship. The plan is to include a co-working space, classrooms, offices, and social areas to promote a variety of programs including happy hours, office hours, mentors, and lectures. Specifically Cintrifuses three pillars are: I. II. III. Strategy & Funding: Evaluating, refining, and maintaining accountability for roadmap strategy and grant recipients Ecosystem Orchestration: Creating networks, identifying needs, and broadcasting entrepreneurial activity to larger community Fund of funds: Managing investment funds with a focus on local, early-stage companies

Within Cintrifuses 27,000 square foot headquarters, CincyFuse will be a start-up library in the 4400 square foot basement as part of Cintrifuses larger effort to effectively orchestrate Cincinnatis start-up ecosystem. The library will allow for co-working, a lecture series, and office hours that will look something like General Assembly mixed with Techstars, with its own coffee shop and library resources. Research has found that flexible work times and low cost are among the most important things they look for in a co working space. So, Cintrifuse is planning on providing 9-5 access open to the public as well as 24 hour access to its members while also keeping costs at a minimum. Research also suggests that larger co-working spaces promote greater interactions, diversity of talents, and overall positively impacts opportunities.
