(St.

Augustine Church, Barberton, OH) (July 8, 2012) Fourteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time Follow the example of Jesus in todays gospel. Just as his neighbors took offense at Him when He taught the Gospel, expect your neighbors to do the same. This opposition did not stop Jesus---nor should it stop us. (Insert graphic 1106-0086) 356 Holy Hours were kept before the Blessed Sacrament this past week. Christs heart is deeply touched by the sight of you adoring Him, not in joy as He is adored in heaven, but in pain, as only on earth He can be adored. Try making one Holy Hour; what do you have to lose? Contact Judy Soltis at 330-212-0926 if you are willing and able!

The Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage is currently hosting the exhibit A Blessing to One Another, Pope John Paul II & the Jewish People. This stunning experience follows John Paul IIs life from child to leader of the worlds largest church, focusing on his relationship with the Jewish people, begun as a boy. Visitors experience the world he knew Wadowice, Poland, life in Warsaw during the war years, and the sweeping changes of the Second Vatican Council, and emulate his historic visit to the Western Wall in Jerusalem by inserting prayers into a 20-foot long wall replica. His personal artifacts and hundreds of images, interviews and historical footage make history come alive.
