Aim & Objective


UK Sports responsibilities are to underpin and unlock the nations Olympic and Paralympic performance potential. Sport England are responsible for building the foundations of sporting success, by creating a world-leading community sport environment of clubs, coaches, facilities and volunteers. We ensure the sector has suitably qualified employees and volunteers to support the delivery of sport activities and to help the government achieve its objective of a healthier, fitter nation. We promote the interests of sport and recreation so that as many people as possible know about their work; we campaign on issues affecting our members. Sports Leaders UK changes lives: its range of awards and qualifications equips people with the skills and motivation to create and run sporting activities in the community. Our vision is UK coaching excellence enabling every child, player and athlete to follow their dreams, have fun and fulfill their potential. With a mission to build a brighter future for young people through PE and sport. We are focused on creating a world-leading PE and sport system that reaches, inspires and engages all young people whatever their age or ability. Disability Sport Events (DSE) create participation opportunities for disabled people with all impairments. We provide events in various sports which allow athletes to follow the pathways to international success. Founded in 1961, our knowledge and experience is respected worldwide. This means, we welcome international athletes at some events in our established annual events programme.
