For District he completed a height of 14 and for Regional he completed a height of 14 6. Christian also went to state. Unfortunately he didnt place but because of his skills on the runway he was scouted by two well-known universities in LA. GRADUATION @ NEW IBERIA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL - NEW IBERIA, LA

Accomplishments I attended the commencement exercise at New Iberia Senior High (NISH) on May 17, 2012. Morbihan was in the house. There were several graduates from this small community. That speaks volumes for this community. Christian Jacob was invited to the Senior Awards Ceremony at NISH. He received the Loreauville Community Scholarship, which was presented to him by Mr. Arthur Joseph. Little did he know, God was not finished with his blessings for Chris. May 24th, Christian was notified that he was chosen as the 2012 Horatio Algar Scholar representing the State of LA. He was awarded a scholarship worth over $10,000. What an AWESOME God we serve. Christian wasnt the only Jacob child obtaining awards. Braylan Jacob obtained an A/B average in the majority of her core subjects. She also scored a mastery level in Math and Social Studies on I-Leap. Calep and Collin Jacobs made A/B honor roll the entire year. Keep in mind alcohol and caffeine can cause insomnia. Use sleep medications cautiously. Some are habit forming and can compound the problem in a long run. I hope these simple rules will help someone, if only one person, (Sarah the ham Conway) Like a Horse Church Humor

A mother said to her daughter at the dinner table, Its very nice that you set the table for our guests, but you didnt put a knife and fork at Reverend Smiths place. He doesnt need them. Daddy always says he eats like a horse. Lesson in Lying A minister told his congregation, "Next week I plan to preach about the sin of lying. To help you understand my sermon, I want you all to read Mark 17." The following Sunday, as he prepared to deliver his sermon, the minister asked for a show of hands. He wanted to know how many had read Mark 17. Every hand went up. The minister smiled and said, "Mark has only sixteen chapters. I will now proceed with my sermon on the sin of lying."

Which Way to Heaven? Reverend Billy Graham tells of a time early in his ministry when he arrived in a small town to preach a sermon. Wanting to mail a letter, he asked a young boy where the post office was. When the boy had told him, Dr. Graham thanked him and said, "If you'll come to the Baptist Church this evening, you can hear me telling everyone how to get to heaven." The boy replied, "I don't think I'll be there... You don't even know your way to the post office."
