Classification / Handicap Summary 1st January 2009

The outdoor season runs for the calendar year. Through the year,
handicap and classification results are applied to either give a first
handicap and then track improvements, or to track improvements
against a handicap and classification brought forward from the
previous year. At the end of the season the best three handicap
and classification results are taken to re-evaluate. This may make
no difference, may slightly improve a handicap or it may reduce the
classification and handicap if scores have fallen from the previous year.

The table below shows a summary of handicaps from 2008, these

are the starting handicaps for 2009.
