PT Permata Energy Resources is a coal exploration and production group based in Indonesia (Sumatra and Kalimantan). The group has grown substantially and has been the largest privately owned coal mining company in Sumatera area. Currently, we are looking for young, energetic and dynamic professional candidates to join our team as position below:

Pit Geologist (PG-2-M)

(Sumatra or Kalimantan)

Responsibilities: Generate plans, cross sections, coal quality analyses and reserves data. Interpret the above geological data to determine where there are anomalies in the data and to determine where additional data is required in order to improve mining efficiency Inspecting on a daily basis all aspect of the mining operation and reporting result Monitor all overburden mining to ensure that the coal is not damaged or removed to the dumps in error and to record tectonic and sedimentary features that will influence later mining Ensure that coal designated for production is properly prepared for subsequent mining Give information of the available stocks and qualities of the coal available in the pits Provide maximum geological input into the weekly and monthly mine plans Requirements: Minimum three (3) years of experience in coal geology exploration / mining Graduate geology from a recognised Tertiary Institution Good understanding of coal quality parameters and practical geology Advanced knowledge of Mincom /Minex software Understanding of basic mining methods and equipment capabilities Initiative in all aspects of the profession Please submit your application letter complete with CV, recently photograph to:
