The place where I live

1. I live in Areia, which is a city located in the microregion of the Brejo in Paraiba. It has a population of 25,000 people and its the second biggest city in the Brejo of Paraiba. 2. Its a beautiful city, a great place to living and to rest. There are a lot of houses with old architecture and its has two big churches and many mills for cachaa e rapadura. Theres a university campus of the UFPB for agricultural and biological sciences. There isnt a lot of bars and restaurants but theres any pizzerias and snack bars, 3. The weather here is typical of the microregion. Areia is one of the coldest cities of Paraiba. The rainy season can be very cold, and sometimes rain all day. Even here in the dry season isnt hot here and we can feel a little cold. 4. Areia is famous for architecture, culture and for the cold. The biggest tourist attraction in Areia is the mills. Also Areia used to have the biggest festival of cachaa and rapadura in Paraiba. There are other festivals too, called Caminhos do Frio and Festival de Artes, they usually happen in september.

5. I think the best thing about Areia is the tranquility, here is a quiet place and very safe. Its a perfect city for work and live. I realy like living here and I would be happy raising my chidren here.
