Significant changes in Menuhin Competition Extracts (MCE), as compared with the Original Version (OV = WH 30191, printed in 1993). Movement I bars 34+35 are tacet; bar count has been adjusted in MCE. Movement II tacet Movement III bar 40 in OV ends with a repeat-bar (da capo); no repeat in MCE. Movement IV tacet (but see V) Movement V first system in MCE is taken from movement IV (first system); the music is the same, but pizzicato (in MCE), not arco (as in OV). The third system from the top is tacet in MCE (in OV it was electronics only).
