Organisation name and description of their aims: Mr Gunning is an SSCo (Schools Sports Co-ordinator). As an SSCo Mr Gunnings aim is to organise and deliver high quality physical education activities to primary school pupils. This creates links with local schools and offers access to the school facilities.

Job title: Teach/School Sports Co-ordinator

Main roles / responsibilities of job: A School Sport Co-ordinator (SSCo) has a dynamic part in the delivery of the Partnership Development Plan in primary schools. This portrays the fact that Mr Gunning is responsible for the co-ordination and also the development of after school and in school physical activities plus local community links in their own school and partner primary schools. This is a big duty to hold because it gives not only the primary school children opportunities to participate in sport but also, gives the pupils in the schools they are visiting an opportunity to work with the younger children and get involved within the different activities Mr Gunning has organised.

Impact / outcomes on youth involved in sport in the area: The impact Mr Gunning has on the children is he gives them a range of opportunities to get involved with lots of different sporting activities, that maybe they wouldnt get if he didnt organise the events which he does. The children are participating in these physical activities are not only are they getting entertainment and having fun but also, they are taking part in a healthy and active lifestyle; which is extremely vital. From The children participating in a range of different sports from such a young age this will encourage the children to carry on with sport for years to come, and some of them might enjoy it so much an become extremely talented within the sport and maybe pursue it as a career when they are older.
