Villanova meets IMT

Exhibiting the cultural, religious and economic dimension of UAE and Dubai in particular, IMTDubai played host to the students from Villanova University USA. A group of 35 US students were hosted on Campus for 2 weeks to conduct the UAE familiarization program for the second consecutive year. Located in Philadelphia, Villanova University is ranked amongst the top 25 business schools in the United States. This UAE Familiarization Program is a yearly event aimed at showcasing the diversity of United Arab Emirates. The main objective is to inform, update and acquaint the foreign students about not just the cultural and social but also economic developments taking place all around UAE with special emphasis on the growth and tremendous rise that the city of opportunities, Dubai, has witnessed over the last several years. Within this framework, the students got a wonderful opportunity to visit various key organizations of the region such as Dubai Chamber of Commerce, DUCAB, DUBAL, Lamprell, and Dubai International Finance Centre, wherein they interacted with the concerned officials on various relevant issues to understand the functioning and management of the organization. The responsible and concerned host that IMT-Dubai has been for years now, meant the entire experience turned out to be one that these foreign students are certainly going to cherish for a long time. The event organizers, faculty members, students and staff of IMT-Dubai can take pride by the kind of enthusiasm and excitement shown by the visiting students.
