Introduction:
In this report, my strengths and strong personality traits will be analyzed. I will be giving my opinion on what I agree and disagree on. I will also explain how the tests work, and how accurate I feel this test is. These tests are to make it clear what my strengths are, and how to make them even stronger. It will also help me help to improve my weaker traits.

Mission Statement:

In my career, I want to be positive, supportive, and help create a better work

environment. I want to help make the company more successful. I expect to always better myself by being honest to others and along with myself. I want to be aware of my weaknesses and work on them day by day. I hope to be passionate about all things I do at work, home, and in friendships. I will do this through staying true to my ethics, my morals, and myself. I expect to live up to high expectations set by myself and society, but to realize that failure will occur. I will do all of this through courage, strength, and confidence.

The Myers-Briggs form is one of the most popular Type Indicator tests out there. Businesses use this to understand their employees all of the time. In this test, you take many different tests that help to understand your personality type. My type

000682978 came out ESTJ. This is Extravert, Sensing, Thinking, and Judging. I scored a 22 as an extravert. Extraversion means that I relate to people and things more than ideas and theories. I definitely feel like I am an extroversive person. I enjoy socializing and understanding people and coworkers. I scored a 7 on sensing, which means I would rather work with facts than look for possibilities. I am not sure I agree with this. I scored a 9 on thinking. This means my judgments are on impersonal logic than personal values. I think this is true, because I think that rules should come before personal feelings on issues that have to do with the work place. On judging I scored a 5. Judging means I like a planned, decided, orderly way of life rather than a flexible spontaneous one. I enjoy knowing ahead of time what the plan is. I enjoy looking forward to plans, and knowing what the steps in the middle entail to get to the fun plans.

Sigi 3
Sigi 3 is a service through Ball State. It is three different tests. It consists of pairs, cards, and Qikpick. The Pairs test gives you two choices to pick from. Cards is a little more complicated. There are six cards to begin with. There is one card at the top turned forward and one turned under. You pick one out of the six to discard until you have gone through the deck of 30 cards. Your Sigi Personality Type from Pairs Enterprising Most Like You Conventional 2nd Most Investigative 3rd Most Your Sigi Personality Type from Cards Conventional Most Like You Social 2nd Most Enterprising 3rd Most Your Sigi Personality Type from QikPik Artistic Most Like You Social 2nd Most 8

Conventional came up on all three of my personality tests. Social and enterprising came up twice. To me, this test was hurried and not helpful. The careers were too narrow for anyone that doesnt want to fix a car or choreograph a dance.

Strengthsfinder 2.0
Strengthsfinder 2.0 is a book written by Tom Rath to help you pinpoint your strengths, and to help you grow by working on them even more. During the test, it gives you two different personality traits and has you choose between them, or neutral if you feel about the same towards the traits. The results are made up of your top 5 strengths and then there is a report explaining them and telling you how to play out these strengths in your life. It gives a very detailed description of each strength which I have included below.

My Top 5 Strengths 1 Individualization 2 Woo 3 Communication 4 Strategic 5 Learner

My strengthsfinder was very on target to me. I think it made me realize my strengths and personality the most out of all the assessments I have taken so far. It also clearly explains them. I enjoy watching a person and getting to know them, and then know how to talk to them. This uses all of my strengths in one scenario alone. I enjoy 12

000682978 people and figuring out what will make them happy or satisfied. I also enjoy figuring out who would be the perfect person to help me with certain problems that arise. This would fall under my strategic strength.

Personal DNA
The personal DNA test is made up of eleven pages of tests. The first part is a scale type test where you move a cursor to different levels. The second part is a graph that you move to fit two different personality traits. The last part is a true/false section.

Creax Creativity Self Assessment

This assessment is used to understand how creative you are, and how differently, or alike, you are to the rest of society. There are four different sections of this test, and it takes about 15 minutes. It begins with a section of rating from being strongly describing me to strongly unlike me. Then, there is a section where it gives you two words and you choose what best describes both words. From here, you are to look at pictures and describe what items you see in the picture. Lastly, you choose a color palette that you like best. The graph shows you and what is typical. I scored 63.09, and according to this test, typical is 62.48. I scored higher than normal on complexity and paradox, but lower on boldness. Since the test had four parts, it seemed like each part did not have enough questions to really make these assumptions. I am not sure that being a typical person when it comes to creativity is such a bad thing, because being too creative makes you lose the realistic side of life, yet I disagree that I am not a bold person.

15

000682978

Personality Test
This personality test asks you questions on a scale from 1-5. 5 being Very Agreeable, and 1 being Very Disagreeable. It asks you questions about being happy, sad, work ethic, and how you handle tasks. One thing I really liked about this test, is it asks you for your sex and age. Then, when giving you your answers, it compares you to others in your same demographic. It also breaks it down for you in each section into smaller personalities within the OCEAN dimensions.

41 Questions Personality Test

This test has 41 questions, and then at the end give you a graph. The graph mimics the personality traits that the Myers-Briggs form gave me. Extrovert being the strongest of my personality traits. Sensing, thinking, and judging are all around the same level on the scale.

16

000682978

Pizza Personality
This test was refreshing after all of the same questions, same quizzes that give you a scale. It asks you questions about what you like on your pizza, what your favorite part of a pizza is. I still do not really know how this could give me a personality answer, but it did not prove to be too far off. I always enjoy new fashion trends, and I like the idea of being a blend of traditional and modern.

You are a Meat Pizza.

Unusual and uncompromising, you're usually the first to discover a new trend. You appreciate a good meal and good company. You're an interesting blend of traditional and modern.

The Big Five Personality Test

The Big Five Personality Test has 45 personality test questions, which range from 1-5. 1 would be strongly disagreeing, and 5 is strongly agreeing. This test is made with the research of OCEAN model of personality. OCEAN is an acronym standing for the five major dimensions of the human personality. These dimensions are Openness to Experience/Intellect, Conscientiousness to Disorganized, Extraverted to Introverted, and Nervous/High Strong to Calm/Relaxed. It gives you your percentile out of 100 for each dimension.

000682978

Neuroticism
High scorers tend to be nervous, high-strung, insecure, worrying; Low scorers tend to be calm, relaxed, secure, hardy.

(Your percentile: 27)

Although The Big Five Personality Test only has 45 questions, the results were very similar to the Myers-Briggs results. The results from the OCEAN dimension of Extraversion lined up the most. I am very extraverted according to both tests, being in the 93 percentile in The Big Five Personality Test. I do think this test needs more questions for more accuracy, but the lack of questions did not seem to interfere with the results of my assessment.

The Color Quiz

The color quiz is a five minute personality test. They tell you what situation you are in now, the source of your stress, your restrained characteristics, your desired objectives, and your actual problem. You simply choose from 8 which colors in the order in which they appeal to you. Then, it asks you to wait 110 seconds, but you can go on if you want. I questioned myself on if I should wait or not, and I wonder if the results are different if you do not wait the entire time. Then, you take the test once again, and it tells you to try not to choose the same order. I found this quiz interesting, since you do not actually answer any questions apart from being male or female. I chose my colors on which ones appealed to me first. I could not help but choose blue first both times, and black was last both times.

20

000682978 According to my color choices, I am very emotional and artistic. I wish for freedom and independence, except for from my own choices. The quiz says I feel under appreciated. It also says I have low confidence, but will not admit that this is why I avoid confidence. My desired objective is to live in perfect harmony. My actual problem is that I long for freedom to make my own decisions without criticism from others. I also use my charm to deal with others and get what I want. To me, this personality test seemed more like a horoscope. I do agree on a few things, such as being artistic and sometimes feeling under appreciated, but there are many parts of this assessment I do not agree with. One disagreement I have is the quiz saying I have low confidence. I do not know how accurate I feel this quiz is, but it is interesting to see what choosing a block of color can supposedly say about someone.

Your Existing Situation

"Very emotional and artistic, enjoys being surrounded by beauty and art. Looking for a partner who always has an eye for beauty and who enjoys close, loving relationships."

Your Stress Sources

"Wishes for freedom and independence, free from limitations and restrictions except for the ones she choices to give himself."

Your Restrained Characteristics

His confidence is low but she is unable to admit that is the reason for her avoidance of conflict. Feels it is a situation out of her control and she is making the best of it. Feels trapped in a helpless situation and is desperately seeking relief. she is able to find pleasure and happiness in sexual activity. "Believes her hopes and dreams are realistic, but needs reassurance from others. Has strict standards when looking for a partner and wants guarantees that she will not be disappointed or lose." "Feels trapped in a helpless situation and is desperately seeking relief. she is able to find pleasure and happiness in sexual activity, as long as there is not a lot of conflict or emotional difficulty."

Your Desired Objective

"Longs for a loving, caring, and supportive relationship, and fanaticizes of living in perfect harmony with others. Has a strong desire for tenderness and affection and enjoys things which are artistically pleasing to the eye."

Your Actual Problem

Keirsey Temperment Sorter-II

This test has 71 questions. The results are sorted into four different personalities. The personalities are The Guardians, The Artisans, The Rationale, and The Idealist. My temperment result was The Guardian. Below I have included what The Guardian pertains.

Your Keirsey Temperament Sorter Results indicates that your personality type is that of the

Guardians are the cornerstone of society, for they are the temperament given to serving and preserving our most important social institutions. Guardians have natural talent in managing goods and services--from supervision to maintenance and supply -and they use all their skills to keep things running smoothly in their families, communities, schools, churches, hospitals, and businesses. Guardians can have a lot of fun with their friends, but they are quite serious about their duties and responsibilities. Guardians take pride in being dependable and trustworthy; if there's a job to be done, they can be counted on to put their shoulder to the wheel. Guardians also believe in law and order, and sometimes worry that respect for authority, even a fundamental sense of right and wrong, is being lost. Perhaps this is why Guardians honor customs and traditions so strongly -- they are familiar patterns that help bring stability to our modern, fast-paced world. Practical and down-to-earth, Guardians believe in following the rules and cooperating with others. They are not very comfortable winging it or blazing new trails; working steadily within the system is the Guardian way, for in the long run loyalty, discipline, and teamwork get the job done right. Guardians are meticulous about schedules and have a sharp eye for proper procedures. They are cautious about change, even though they know that change can be healthy for an institution. Better to go slowly, they say, and look before you leap. Guardians make up as much as 40 to 45 percent of the population, and a good thing, because they usually end up doing all the indispensable but thankless jobs everyone else takes for granted. Guardians at Work As a Guardian, you enjoy working as a valued member of a team, whether you are leading it or following a credible leader. You like to work with people who carry their weight. You appreciate having clear-cut responsibilities and being recognized for your dedication and achievements. Your natural traits are those that employers have traditionally valued - and that successful companies still respect. You are responsible and loyal to an organization once you've signed on. On the job, you seem to innately understand how to create smooth, working processes in your environment. You can excel at directing others to fulfill their duties. In your ideal workplace, you and your colleagues would know what is expected of you and be predictably rewarded for meeting these expectations

This test only gives you one personality after taking all 71 questions which made me skeptical at first. After reading the description though, the Guardian definitely describes me well. I enjoy the recognition for my work, Im practical, and I am a people pleaser.

Conclusion
Now that I have taken these self assessments, I know more about myself and how others perceive me. It helps me focus more on what I need to fix to make my future more clear. Now, when someone asks me to tell them a little more about me, I can tell them exactly how my personality works and how it will fit into their business. I can tell them Ive very extroverted, that I learn by experience, and I like to understand people individually to make them an efficient member of the team.
