    The anus is a special type of muscle called sphincter muscle

    HOW DOES IT WORK??

    The anus works by inter-rectal pressure building up. The pressure is caused by waste building up. Relaxation of the sphincter cause waste to be pushed out of the anus (also known as a bowel movement) .

    THE ANUS' FUNCTION

    The only function of the anus is to expel waste out of the alimentary canal.
