Pipes, Richard. A Concise History of the Russian Revolution. New York: Alfred A. Knoph, Inc., 1995. This Book discusses about the Bolsheviks, the civil war, the Red Terror, Lenin, and Stalin and how those events and people effected the Russian Revolution.

Riansanovsky, Nicholas. A History of Russia. Oxford UP, 1977. In the book History of Russia, its going to tell us about what are the causes to start the Russian Revolution of 1917 and the effects after the revolution.

Stalin, Joseph. Economic Problems of Socialism in the USSR. CreateSpace,unknown. This book will help us greatly in the fact that it focuses on the economics of Stalins Soviet Russia. This being a focal point of our project we hope it will help us more. Gellately, Robert. Lenin, Stalin, Hitler The Age of Social Catastrophe. New York City: Alfred A. Knopf, 2007. This book showed an in-depth relation about Joseph Stalins strategies and how they paid off.

Salisbury, Harrison E. Russia In Revolution. Great Britain: Henry Holt & Co, 1998 This book shows us real pictures that were taken and propaganda posters that were used to show how great Russia was and also this book has posters that shows how people in Russia hated the government.

Ziegler, Charles E. The History of Russia. London: Greenwood Press, 1999. The History of Russia discusses about how the revolution started and ended. Also, talks about how the communist party started.

Ascher, Abraham. The Russian Revolution of 1905 and Other Russian Facts. California: Standford University Press, 2004. This book is another source of pre-Stalin Russia with a smaller section on Lenin. This will be a good transitional source from 1905 to Stalin era.

Schwarz, Soloman. The Russian Revolutions. Chicago: Chicago University Press,1967.

This book contains a wide assortment of facts about the Russian Revolutions and their aftermaths. So, it will give us a rudimentary knowledge of them.

Secondary Sources:

This website about the Russian Revolution of 1917 will briefly discuss about the events that happened that year such as the February Revolution, Lenin coming back to Russia, and the October Revolution. Also, it briefly discusses about the aftermath and the cause of the revolution. Stalin, Joseph. A Short Auto-Biography. unknown, unknown. This will give us an all around view through the eyes of a ruthless dictator who thought everyone was out to get him. Stalin, Joseph. Foundations of Leninism. 1939. This will give us Stalins view of the Foundations of Socialist Russia itself, the views of its liberator Vladimir, Lenin. Simkin, John. "Five Year Plan." Spartacus. International Education Forum, 2000. Web. This gave a good brief explanation of the Five Year Plan and how much of an effect it left on Russia. Simkin, John. "Joseph Stalin: Biography." Spartacus. International Education Forum, 2000. Web. This website gave us a brief explanation about his childhood and how him and Vladimir Lenin came into his life. Hingley, Ronald. Joseph Stalin: Man & Legend Ronald Hingley. New York City: Konecky & Konecky, 1974. This book gave us a view on his upbringing of his childhood and how that affected him later on in life.
