MINUTES BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF COUNTY PLANNERS Teleconference Call on February 14, 2012

1. Call to Order Chair Judy Francis convened the regular meeting at 2:53 pm (Eastern Time). 2. Roll Call Members present were Judy Francis, James Davenport, Robert Hill, Tim Brown, Keith Cubic Royce Maniko and Joe Scorcio. Charlie Compton, Mike Harper, Dennis Sandquist, Mike Kayes, were excused. A quorum was confirmed. 3. Minutes of the December 13, 2011 Teleconference Cubic moved, seconded by Brown to approve the minutes as presented. Motion passed unanimously. 4. Finance Report Francis summarized Treasurer Harpers current NACP financial report. Expenses are very low but income may not be keeping up. Balance is1691.63 Scorcio moved and Maniko seconded to accept the financial report. The motion passed unanimously. 5. NACO Updates Davenport provided an update on the wind energy white paper. He will distribute draft to entire board for review and comment. NACO Legislative conference is coming up at the end of the month. Francis and Davenport are working on a sustainability session at NACO conference in July. Scorcio may be able to participate in Pittsburgh as well. 6. Website Update Francis is received an analysis of 2011 visits to the NACP website. Highest volumes of our 1300 searches are planning topics, research and jobs. She called for everyone to update information and send info and articles. 7. Other Business There was no other business before the Board. 8. Next Executive Committee Meeting Date and Time It was determined that the next teleconference meeting would be after the CPD meeting on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at 2:00 pm Eastern Time. The Joint Annual meeting will be on Sunday, April 15th at the APA conference. 9. Adjournment The NACP meeting was adjourned at 3:07 pm.
