The Sport(s) with which each is associated

Organisational Aims

The sports in which the organization is associated with are Badminton, Basketball, Football, Netball, Martial Arts, Gymnastics, Basketball, Table Tennis, Fitness, Dance, Exercise Classes and Yoga, Hockey, Handball and Netball, Water polo, Swimming lessons, Aqua aerobics, Weightlifting and Cardio! To attract people from the local community to get involved into different sports.

Target Groups

Aqua terra has a wide range in which they target groups 16+ so young teenagers to adults and OAPs.

Standards of Facilities and Services

The facilities provided at the centre are Indoor court, Gymnasium, Outdoor court, Swimming Pool and a Gym.

Pricing Structure

10 for one specific activity such as just swimming, or pay 35 a month to use all facilities e.g. the gym and the indoor court as well as the swimming pool.

Extent of Partnerships With Other Sectors

In partnership with primary care trusts, housing associations, other not-for-profit organisations and councils, to bring the benefits and fun to be had from physical activity to as many community venues, parks and play areas as they can.

Government Grants

They are eligible to receive Government grants as they are not a private organisation therefore they come under the circumstances to receive them.

Non Government Grants

They do not receive any non government grants because the company is managed by the council of Bath & North East Somerset.

Member Loans

As they are managed by the council they wouldn t need member loans borrow money from the public.

Financial Institution Loans

No because again they are managed by the council therefore they will not receive any financial institution loans from the bank.

Membership Subscriptions

10 for one specific activity such as just swimming, or pay 35 a month to use all facilities e.g. the gym and the indoor court as well as the swimming pool.

Lottery Funding

The leisure centre meet the requirements of receiving lottery funding but as far as my research has given as of yet they have not received any funding.

Private Investment

They do not receive any private investment because private investors wouldn t want to put money into an organisation in which is organised by the council.

Donations

The leisure centre are entitled to receive donations but from my information in which I have found as of yet they have not received any donations.
