David was anointed whilst Saul was still alive and well. This was highly dangerous. He had to wait 22 years before he received the crown. God has a habit of making us wait Joseph also had to wait.

People will often give advice on how to do things. David listened to the advice, tried it out, but ultimately rejected this idea. Confident despite being taunted by Ones Family and Ones Enemies Dealing with jealousy. Saul was jealous of David. The biggest opponent of tomorrows man is often yesterdays man.
