AGATHA CHRISTIE, WOMEN OF MYSTERY

Agahta Mary Clarrisse Miller wrote her first novel in 1908 when she was eighteen years old. It was called Snow Upon the Desert. It was not a detective story. But the publishers didnt want to publish it. When Agatha was twenty years old.She met a boy at the home of Lord and Lady Clifford. His name was Archie Christie. Archie and Agatha married in 1914 before the First World War.So Archie went to war. When Archie was in the war, Agatha decided to write a detective novel and her novel was published in 1920. It was called The Mysterious Affair at Styles. Then her books were begun to sell all over the world. She became famous. One day suddenly she dissappeared.People thought she was very unhappy.Because her mother died and her husband was in love with a young woman. Agathas car was found empty.at place called Newlands Corner. Ten days later she was found at Hydro Hotel in Harrogate.The rest of her life Agatha never spoke again about this event. So nobody learned what happened to her. One day Agatha decided to visit the West Indies.Then Agatha changed her mind. She wanted to go to Baghdad by the Orient Express.In the train she met a man his name was Max Malloven. They enjoyed very much together.When they were back in England, he asked Agatha to marry him and they married in 1971. Queen Elizabeth made Agatha a Dame of the British Empire and Agatha Christie died on the 12th of January in 1976. During her life she wrote sixty-seven detective novels,ten books of short stories, thirteen plays, six novels that were not about crime and two books about her life.

MY COMMENT
I like this book because I have learned mystery of Agatha Christies life.I recommend readers of Agatha Christies novels to read this book.
