Art explanation

I drew a picture oI a guy playing badminton. I drew this because my

grandparents met through badminton. They were playing against each other at a
doubles match. I Iound out through my interview that both my grandparents were
badminton champions; my grandma Ior the YWCA and my grandpa Ior YMCA.
I`m sure my grandparents played badminton a lot aIter that game and thereIore got
even closer and Iell even more in love. The story oI the Iirst game they played
together, or against each other, also helps me understand my grandparent`s
personality and relationship. I had no idea my grandma was really athletic and the
same Ior my grandpa.

Music explanation
I picked the piano version oI Endless Love by Lionel Richie and Diana Ross
Ior my song. I picked this song because I Ieel like it reIlects my grandparent`s
relationship. It`s been almost 40 years since my grandpa`s death. My grandma is
67 years old and she hasn`t remarried since his death. The instrumental song that I
picked isn`t too Iast or upbeat but it`s still not too slow or depressing. I wanted to
pick a song that wasn`t depressing because that is not what my grandma`s story is
about. It is about being able to be happy aIter something has terrible happened and
remembering the good times instead oI the bad.
