Hi, I went to church last night and picked up a really great devotional by Pastor Bill Winston. Even though I just started it, it really blessed me and I wanted to share it with you. DAY 1 Romans 4:17-21 Hebrews 11:1-6 To run with God, you're going to have to run by faith. Hebrews Chapter 11 is called the "Hall of Faith," and every person who was singled out for believing and acting on the Word of God walked by faith. God wants your name in the Hall of Faith. He wants you right along side of Abraham and Enoch and Joseph and Elijah. Each of them had a different calling, and different faith challenge, but they all chose to believe God and walk and live by faith. If you want your healing to manifest in your life, you're going to have to start talking like God. You're going to have to start walking like God. YOu're going to have to start thinking like God. If not, you're going to have a very frustrating life. Why? Because God is going to have you calling things that be not as though they were. That's how God functions. That's how He taught Abraham to function. All natural hope may be gone. Your body's symptoms may tell you it's too late. Physicians may give you an evil report. Statistics may tell you, you haven't got a chance. But God said by His stripes you are healed. Romamn 4:18 says of Abraham, " Who against (natural) hope believed in hope, that he might become...according to that which was spoken..." If you want to "become" according to what God has spoken about your health, hope in God's Word. Let your faith give substance to that hope, and be the evidence that your healing exists. Say this aloud: "My name's going in God's Hall of Faith. I choose to walk by faith, look beyond the symptons, and hope in God's Word for my total healing and divine health, in Jesus' Name."

babieboo Romans 4:17-21 One of the greatest fights you'll ever have is to come off of the senses and go only by the Word of God.

11-19-2004, 12:31 PM

God told Abraham, "I have made you the father of a multitude". Abraham was old, and it was impossible(naturally speaking) for them to have children. In fact, Sarah never could have a child. Now Abraham had a choice. He had a will. His will could have gone the way of his senses or his will could have gone the way of the Word. And you're always going to have a choice as to which way you want to go. The way of the senses feels good to your senses. Your senses will tell you to give up and have a pity party. But that's not the way of God. When the enemy tempts us, he puts pressure on the flesh. That's when discipline takes over; a discipline of the spirit. You've got to believe God and put His Word first place. Let God be true and every man a liar. Look at what Abraham did according to Romans 4:19 "And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb." That means you don't consider the circumstances. It may be a fact that sickness is in your body, but just don't consider it. Say this: "I'm not going to let my body tell me what I believe because my body doesnt know. My spirit knows that with Jesus' stripes, I am healed!"

babieboo Scripture: Romans 4:17-21 Dont go by your feelings. Go by your faith.

11-24-2004, 09:12 AM

There is a difference between human, faith, which is called "sense knowledge faith," and real faith. If you've got to wait until you see physical evidence to prove something is real, that's human faith. That's the "doubting Thomas" kind of faith that must examine the scars on Jesus' body before believing in His resurrection. Human faith says if you can't see it, you cant believe it. If I dont feel it, it just doesnt exist. Human faith is looking for some outward sign, looking for goose bumps. Romans 4:20-21 says: "He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able to perform."

that, what he had promised, he was able to perform." God said to Abraham, "I have made thee father of many nations," before Abraham even had one child! For this to come to pass both he and his wife Sarah had to receive healing in their bodies before the promise could be fulfilled. Your job as a Believer is to feed your faith the Word of God, and let your faith recieve what's already been provided. Your job is to believe that God will do what He promised. That's the only job you've got. What God said is true. Say: "I dont care what my feelings tell me. I put the Word first place, and I am healed."

babieboo Matthew 9:27-31 Matthew 8:1-4 "Believe ye that I am able to do this?" Matthew 9:28

11-30-2004, 07:29 AM

Thats what Jesus asked the two blind men who followed Him, crying out for mercy. And thats what He asks us today. Do you believe that He is able to remove every symptom of sickness and pain from your body? Do you believe that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever(Hebrews 13:8)? Do you believe that God is able to heal you? The leper in Matthew 8:1-4 had full confidence in Jesus' ability to heal. But he needed to make it personal. Just knowing that God is able was not enough to manifest healing in his life. He needed for God's ability to be released on his behalf, to relieve his suffering and his pain. He worshipped Jesus by saying: "Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean." Aha! You know that God is able, but is He willing to heal you? Is it His desire for you to walk in perfect health? Out of all the billions of people in the earth, is He willing to stop by your house and take special notice of you and your need for healing? Yes, you have confidence that He is able. God is all powerful. But does He love you enough to will for you to be healed, too? Jesus replied by saying, " I will; be thou clean." Confess this to the Father God, Jehovah-Rophe, the Lord that healed thee: "Father God, thank You that my healing is Your will. I believe You are able to do this and I believe that I recieve it by faith.'

babieboo Matthew 9:27-31 Faith and believing--two sides of the same coin.

11-30-2004, 07:39 AM

In Matthew 9:28, Jesus asked two blind men, "Believe ye that I am able to do this?" He's separating believing from faith. They are not the same. If you believe that "if you eat, you wont starve to death," but refuse to eat the food that is set before you, your believing wont benefit you in the least. If you believe "if your just eat, you wont starve," and even make a song about "I Believe," but never act on what you believe, you will, before long, die believing. The only believing you've got to do is to believe that God can do it. Faith acts as if it is true. Faith doesnt need to wait to feel better before it knows God is working. Jesus said in Matthew 9:29: "According to your faith be it unto you." God needs your faith. Faith that He is able to do what He promised. Faith is acting on the Word of God, as though it is true, even before there is any external evidence that God's Word is working on your behalf. Believing on the promises of God is the first step. Speaking what you believe in faith is the second step. Then you must release your faith with corresponding action. "I believe that I am healed now, and I release my faith with corresponding action."

babieboo Romans 12:1-3 God has dealt to every man the measure of faith.

12-02-2004, 06:45 PM

When you got born-again, you got the measure of faith. Bill Winston has no more faith than you've got. The difference is I've learned how to work my faith, and you can, too. Romans 10;17 says: "Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing, by the word of God." The more you hear, the more faith comes. And once faith comes, you have to act on that faith to activate your faith. Real faith in God is "heart faith." You believe with the heart,a nd you believe the Word of God regardless of what the physical evidence says. That's real faith. Faith based on feelings or sense knowledge is natural faith, and not real faith at all. You have a choice. You can operate in human faith and side with symptoms, or you can operate in "hearth faith" and side with God's Word. External changes begin with an internal conviction, a persuasion, a confidence, an assurance, a determination, a steadfastness, a righteous indignation, to hold to what belongs to you! "I have heart faith, and the only evidence I need to confirm that I am healed is my faith in the Word of God."

Luke 5:1-11 "Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at they word I will let down the net." Luke 5:5 Simon Peter was a fisherman. He and his team had worked and toiled all night long, trying to catch some fish, but to no avail. Jesus asked to borrow Simon's boat to use as a platform to preach the Gospel. As Jesus taught, faith came to bring Simon from a drought to a draught---in only a few minutes, during the daytime (when no self respecting fisherman would dare fish). A reason why a lot of God's people are working so hard is because they're not working their faith. When you don't work your faith, you work hard and wear out. God's not trying to make anybody lazy. He's trying to make you efficient. And without faith, you're not. Let your faith do the work. Get the Word of God and build the inner image of His provision for your health. Don't toil with it. You may have tried every specialist in town, and every new treatment on the market. And like Simon Peter, you may have seen nothing good result. Nevertheless, at God's Word, decree your victory over sickness and disease, and watch the results produced from the Word of God. Repeat this confession: "Lord, I will not toil over my healing. I will let my faith do the work. I might even still feel the symptoms, but nevertheless, at thy Word, I will confess that I am already healed."

babieboo Luke 17:11-19

12-09-2004, 11:41 AM

In Luke Chapter 17, when the ten lepers cried unto Jesus for mercy to be freed from their condition, Jesus commanded them to go and show themselves to the priests. Obedience to His command required faith on their part, because they weren't supposed to go to the priests until they were healed. Isn't that interesting? This is similar to "calling things that be not as though they were" (Romans 4:17). They were faced with a dilemma. Mentally, they could have raised arguments and reasoned away their miracle that God was about to perform. Instead, they obeyed, and as they went, they were cleansed of the leprosy. In verse 19, Jesus spoke to the only one that returned to give glory to God and said: "Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole." He didnt say "My power has made you whole" or "God's divine providence has made you whole," but your faith has made you whole. Your faith can make you whole. The very own faith that God has given to every Believer can be used to bring healing and make you perfectly whole. They released their faith by acting on what they believed. They showed themselves to the priests. Say this: "Lord Jesus, You are my High Priest, and I'm giving You glory as I present my body to You, because my faith has made me whole."

babieboo I Timothy 6:12 Luke 10:17

12-10-2004, 09:53 AM

"Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and has professed a good profession before many witnesses." I Timothy 6:12 In this battle, dont waste time fighting a lot of stuff that you're not supposed to fight. The only fight of the Christian is the fight of faith. He calls it a good fight. Why? Because we win. And we dont have to get beat up to win. No, I want to win standing straight up, and without my suit even getting wrinkled. How about you? You must know how faith works to fight successfully. No win a few, lose a few. No playing for nine innings. You play until you win, and you're going to win that fight. So, God expects you to win every time. This is the testimony that God wants for you. Dont fight churches, dont fight the saints, dont even fight the devil and demons. Fight the good fight of faith. Its a good fight because you've already won. You keep that Word going out of your mouth and dont back up. Stand flat-footed on the Word and dont be timid. Say this confession of faith: "I fight the good fight of faith for the life of my body. I profess it before God, before the angels, and even before the powers of darkness. I lay hold of my healing NOW! In Jesus' Name."

Acts 10:38 II Corinthians 12:7-10 "How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him." Acts 10:38 The devil is behind all oppression, and sickness is one manifestation of oppression. The devil is defeated though, and the only power he has is what man gives him. He started in the Garden of Eden as a snake and ended up in the book of Revelation as a dragon. When the enemy was busy buffeting Paul and raising up opposition against Paul from city to city, Paul sought God three times that it might depart from him. God's response was (my personal paraphrase), "Paul, I dont need to get the devil off your back. You get him off your own back. Just use the grace that I've given you."

God wants you to defeat the devil so you can pass through places where Satan cant even touch you. Just like when Jesus preached His first sermon and the religious folk got so angry they wanted to throw Him off a cliff. But they weren't able to touch Him. He just passeed through the midst of the crowd and went His way (Luke 4:28-30). Say this with boldness: "God is with me and His Word is still healing today. God's grace is sufficient for me, so devil, get off my back, get off my healing, and get out of my life!" In Jesus' Name."

babieboo Galatians 3:13-14

12-13-2004, 03:15 PM

"Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Galatians 3:13-14 Jesus Christ redeemed you, purchased you back from satan's "pawn shop," and gave you liberty and freedom from sin, sickness and disease, and spiritual death. But just as your salvation was not automatic, neither is your healing. THe Word of God is your "Land of Promise," and it takes faith to receive every last promise as your own. What is included in the curse of the law? Deuteronomy 28:59 says "great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses...of long continuance." Verse 60 lists, "all the diseases of Egypt" and verse 61 says, "Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law..." are all included under the curse. How are you going to receive your inheritance? Through faith. It's going to take faith for you to receive the promises of God. Sometimes people are trying to get into Canaan(the Promise Land)using their natural sense, and it will not work. You can't get God's best through the senses. Let God's Word saturate your mind. Let it sink down into your heart. Let it become more real to you than any physical evidence. Say this with conviction: "Christ has redeemed me from the curse of every disease known and unknown to man. He bore them so I could enjoy a blessed, healthy body. I am healed, in Jesus' Name."

babieboo Matthew 8:5-13 Psalm 107:20

12-14-2004, 12:47 PM

"The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof; but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed." Matthew 8:8 Here is an astounding account of a man, a soldier, a Gentile, with revelation of the power of Jesus' words to heal, without Jesus even having to be the person in need of the healing. This soldier was not a jew. He had no benefit of a Hebrew family line, well versed in the covenant teachings of the seed of Abraham. He was an outsider, but obviously one who studied Jesus and recognized the authority Jesus operated in. The soldier had such compassion on his servant who was tormented with an illness, that he besought Jesus on his behalf. Being a soldier, he recognized the power of words spoken by a higher authority. By witnessing the many miracles and healings done by Jesus, he saw that Jesus' words had more authority than any pre-existing condition. All he had to do was get Jesus to speak the Word over his servant, and his servant would be healed. Do you know that when you operate under God's authority, your words have power, too? In Mark 11:23, Jesus taught that you could even speak to mountains, commanding them to be removed and cast into the sea, and they would obey you---your faithfilled words. Sicknesses and diseases must obey your words also. Release these words in faith: "Father God, You said that great faith is believing in the power of the spoken word. You sent Your Word and healed me. I believe it and I now speak it into existence, in Jesus' Name."

GENESIS 1:26-27 "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish in the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female he them." Genesis 1:26-27 The word dominion has to do with ruling, prevailing against, taking or to manage, or to have authority over. It also means to subjugate, or to crush. God gave Adam and Eve charge over this earth, to rule this planet and exercise dominion (authority) over it. This included taking dominion over satan when he showed up on the scene. Instead of taking dominion over him, the first man and woman allowed satan's words to distort the picture they had of God. Instead of ruling over satan, they and all of mankind became enslaved to him. That same enemy tries to paint the picture of God as the one who places sickness and disease on His people to teach them something. No, God is glorified when sicknesses are removed and the captive one is set free! Would you expose your child to a deadly disease to teach them something? Dont you think God has more sense than a loving parent? Boldly confess your dominion: "I take dominion over my body, and I'll not allow sickness to creep on my body ever again. I command this body to be pain free and disease free, now, in Jesus' Name."

babieboo Matthew 12:9-20

12-17-2004, 03:38 PM

"But when Jesus knew it, He withdrew Himself from thence: and great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all." Matthew 12:15 One would think that everyone in town would be overjoyed if a visiting prophet was healing everyone with any kind of infirmity. Buit in this case, the religious leaders, the Pharisees, were busy plotting how they would destroy Jesus. There are some people, even church folk, who say that healing from God has passed away. They'll even scoff at Believers that say that standing on the Word for their healing. They may try to discourage you, telling you to be sensible and face reality. The message of Biblical healing offends them. "And He did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief." Matthew 13:58 No wonder they dont believe in the healing power of God. Unbelief will stop the mighty works of God, even as it stopped Jesus from performing mighty works in His own country. Doubt and unbelief are enemies of faith. Unbelief kept Israel from possessing the land that God has promised them, and as a result they wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. That first generation died, never having enjoyed the fulfillment of God's promise to them. Praise God, you have conquered unbelief, and you will possess the promise! Say this aloud: "Jesus healed them all. I'm a Believer, and nothing shall stop the healing power of God from manifesting in my life. I am healed."

babieboo MARK 10:46-52

12-23-2004, 01:46 PM

In the account of blind Bartimaeus in Mark chapter 10, we see a man desperately crying out to Jesus. Though many people around him tried to silence him, he cried out even more, "Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me." For Bartimaeus, it probably wasn't easy going against the crowd. He had to press through the rejection of the crowd, embarrassment, even the shame of being a beggar--to get his healing from Jesus. No, this wasn't easy street for him. He may have been the only one in the crowd that even cared if he ever received his sight, and if he didn't stand up for his rights, no one else would. When Jesus called him, he threw off his beggars garment. His days of begging were over. He wasn't coming back to that street to beg again. Bartimaeus received a miracle from God. He received his sight immediately. (Healing can come in an instant, or over time.) He was determined not to let the answer to his prayers pass by him. His persistence was a demonstration of his faith. Notice, Jesus didn't take the credit for healing them. Jesus said, "Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole." On the outside, Bartimaeus may have looked somewhat helpless. But sheer determination caused him to rise up on the inside, and he was not about to miss this opportunity to be set free from what possibly had bound him all the days of his life. Say this aloud: "I will rise up on the inside, and my persistence will be a demonstration of my faith. I'll never be sick another day in my life."

babieboo JOHN 5:1-15

12-28-2004, 12:15 PM

In John Chapter 5. there lay a great multitude of impotent folk around the pool of Bethesda. Impotent could mean weak people, or people with infirmities. Some were blind, some halt, some withered, and they were all waiting for the moving of the water. Waiting for God to move. Waiting for someone to help the rush into the water as it began to move. Waiting. And hoping. Waiting for some external evidence that they could receive something from God. Something external to validate the fact that it's time to be healed. Some people may be waiting on a feeling, waiting to feel better. This is not faith. None of it is faith. You see, your time for healing is anytime. You don't have to wait for next week, or next month, or for the next healing evangelist to come to town. You can get healed today. Right now. There was a man at the pool who was waiting for something he could see on the outside, before he would operate in faith. He was waiting for some external condition to be met to indicate the right time to be healed. While the man laying at the pool of Bethesda was busy making excuses as to why getting his healing was so difficult to accomplish, Jesus spoke these words that brought life to him: "Rise, take up they bed, and walk." Immediately the man was made whole. He wasnt waiting on God. God was waiting on him to rise up. Getting healed is just as easy as getting saved. If you have faith to get saved, you have faith to get healed. You can take just as little faith, and it can move a mountain in your life. Say this aloud: "If I have faith to be saved, I have faith to be healed. I'll take just a little faith and move this mountain right out of my life."

The healing anointing that was on Jesus didnt disappear when Jesus ascended into heaven. Jesus said: "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils...they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover." Mark 16:17-18 Jesus died and paid for everything God had given us in the beginning, and that Adam lost. Healing is a gift, just as salvation is a gift. And it belongs to you. You don't have to talk God out of it. There may be mental barriers to your healing. You may have had a particular illness for a long time, and you envision yourself in the future having to deal with the same pain and suffering thats been with you for months or even years. Let this be the day for a new image of new, healthier, physically fit you. Genesis 11:6 says of the imagination, "and now nothing will be restained from them, which they have imagined to do." See the power of keeping the image of your being perfectly whole in sight? God has given us an imagination to bring the unseen into the seen. To create a physical reality from a spiritual reality that already exists. Every day practice developing your imagination for the good things of God to manifest in your life, and that includes healing for your body. Profess this and envision it: " I see myself healed and enjoying perfect health, fee from pain, fee from disease, with nothing missing, and nothing broken."

9/21/11 12:52 AM

babieboo Mark 2:1-12

01-03-2005, 01:15 PM

In Mark Chapter 2, there is another situation where physical barriers threatened to hinder a man from receiving personal ministry from Jesus for his healing. His friends went beyond the reasonable. What determination! They needed a breakthrough and that's exactly what they did- break through the roof to get to Jesus. And what does Jesus say to the man sick of palsy, who was carried in on a stretcher? "Son,thy sins be forgiven thee." Who knows, this man could have been eaten up with such guilt and condemnation, perhaps he didn't think he was worthy of Jesus healing him. His friends though, werent going to let anything stop them from getting him to Jesus. Many peole can not get healing because of condemnation for the things done wrong in the past. This can create a mental block or barrier that's difficult to penetrate. They're still dealing with the past. We know from II Corinthians 5:17 that if any man be in Christ he is a new creature. The old things are passed away. When you get born again, you are a brand new person. You don't have a past. Now your body doesnt change, so dont look at your body to evaluate whethere or not you are a new creature. Your body is not you, its just your house. Its been trained in the past ways and habits. And the same goes for your mind. An unrenewed in (untaught and unchanged by the Word of God) will lead you to do the same things as the old you did. No matter what the man's past was, Jesus spoke to him and said, " I say unto thee Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house." Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth. His sins were forgiven, and his body was healed. Speak this aloud: "Body, I say unto thee, Arise, and be made perfectly whole, and I send that infirmity back to where it came from."

babieboo I Corinthians 9:24-27

01-07-2005, 08:58 AM

In I Corinthians 9:27, the Apostle Paul writes, "I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway." In this era where everything on the market seems to be geared toward the satisfying of the flesh, this scripture reminds us that we have a part to play in keeping our bodies under subjection. The fruit of the Spirit involved here is temperature, or self-control. There are many sicknesses that we can bring upon ourselves due to poor stewardship over our bodies. The stress and strain of excess weight overworks the heart and other organs. Consuming processed foods high in fat, salt, and sugar to excess will take its toll on the body over time. Living a sedentary life with no exercise whatsoever is a sure way to muscle atrophy. Drinking excessive amounts of caffeine laden drinks in place of water is not good stewardship over our bodies. Eating has become a pastime we do for fun, to reward ourselves, to avoid boredom, or to compensate for depression and rejection, instead of to obtain energy to live and to function. A healthy diet of fresh fruit and vegetables is swiftly disappearing with this current generation, many of whom were brought up on a steady diet of fast food. Can God heal people who are sick because of poor stewardship of their bodies? Of course He can. But lets do our part. Lets become knowledgeable about what it takes to keep these bodies of ours in good working order, and then act on what we've learned. Say: "I keep my body under and bring it into subjection, and I never allow my flesh to control me."

Dont you just love those scripture passages that contain "every" and "all"? That means that no one was excluded. There was no sickness that was too hard for God to heal. There was no virus or malady that was too far gone or too serious for Jesus to minister healing for. Was AIDS existing back then? Or cancer, diabetes, or heart disease? How about diseases from chemical weapons? Biological warfare? Is anything too hard for God? "He cast out the spirits with His word, and healed all that were sick." Matthew 8:16 What's left after all? NONE. At the end of the day, there was no one left waiting around for their healing. No stragglers. No one saying, "Oh well, maybe tomorrow will be my day." Anything new that comes on the scene has already been taken care of. Any disease or tragic plagues are already covered under our "Heavenly Insurance Plan." The only premium required to effect the policy is faith. Decree this statement: "Jesus healed all that were sick, and that includes me. I'm not only healed, but I'm laying hands on the sick and they're recovering!"

babieboo DAY 21 LUKE 4:33-44 MATTHEW 17:14-21

The Bible gives an account of a man in a synagogue who was possessed with a spirit of an unclean devil. Jesus cast that spirit out and set the man free. Now get out of your thinking images from hollywood about rotating heads and green slime. Yes, demon possession is real, and the saints of God have been empowered to cast them out. Mark 16:17 says: "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In My Name shall they cast out devils..." Do you believe? Well, you, too, can cast out devils. Jesus said in John 14:12, "He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I do unto my Father." What happened when Jesus went back to His Father? He sent us the Holy Spirit. The same Spirit He was anointed with when He got baptized (Luke 3:21-22). When we allow the Spirit of God to use us to cast out devils, God is glorified and the person is delivered and set free from demonic influence. A demonic spirit can cause a person to act like they have lost their mind. That same spirit can cause them to exhibit strange behavior, and to even be suicidal. Jesus said that He cast out devils by the Spirit of God(Matthew 12:28). That same Spirit of God is the Holy Spirit(or Holy Ghost) that dwells within us if we have been baptized with the Holy Ghost and power(Acts 1:4-8). How do we cast devils(or demons) out? Jesus cast out spirits with His word (Matthew 8:16). You can even speak the Word of God over your life, and any harassing spirit must leave. You have the authority; the Holy Spirit has the power. Speak this out loud: "I believe on Jesus, and I am doing greater works by the power of the Holy Spirit. Devil, you are the author of physical and mental illnesses, and I cast you and all your disorders out of my life now, in Jesus' Name."

babieboo MARK 7:24-30

In the scriptures, we never see Jesus refusing to heal anyone. In Mark Chapter 7, is an account of a Syrophenecian woman who sought out Jesus to cast the devil out of her daughter. His response was not as we would have expected: "Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and cast it unto the dogs." Can you believe that Jesus is calling her a dog? But she wasn't willing to give up so easily. "Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs." It seems that anyboy that came to Jesus and had faith received their healing. They were depending on Almighty God. They heard the Word and decided to act on it. They reached out to Jesus in faith and He honored their faith. What a relief for the mother to hear, "For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daugher." Somehow a sense of righteousness rose up on the inside of this woman and she pressed in further to get what her daughter needed from God. She knew it wasnt about her. No, she wasnt a covenant woman. No, she had no right to claim as a seed of Abraham. She just had a desperate need need to see her daughter set free. She uashamedly fell at Jesus' feet, no doubt after tremedous suffering, as she watched helplessly...day in and day out...her daughter progressively get worse and worse...slipping further and further from reality. People probably grew to hate the mother, gossiping and wondering why she wouldnt do something about the daugher's behavior. Oh what celebration must have taken place when she was delivered! Say this: "Healing and deliverance is the children's bread--a very basic provision to enjoy the life of God. Thank You Jesus for my daily bread."

Is there a body part missing? Is there hope in this situation? Let's see what happened in Matthew 15:30-31: "And great mulititudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, maimed, and many others, and cast them

"And great mulititudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel." Even the maimed, those with a limb missing--perhaps a hand, or a foot--were not excluded from the possibility of being made whole. Yes, God can perform miracles, too. He created man, and just as sure as He made us, He can fix us up, too! You may ask how is this possible. In Genesis 1:26, God spoke and created Adam. In Luke 1: 28-38, God spoke(through an angel) and created Jesus in Mary's womb. Her response to the angel's announcement of a son was "...be it unto me according to they word." Hebrews 11:3 says that so that "through faith...the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." Proverbs 3:19-20 says that the heavens and the earth was created by wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Everything in nature you see was created by God's spoken word. Jesus is called the "Word made flesh" in John 1;14. God's Word can still be made flesh today. Say this in faith: "God's Word is made flesh in my body, and anything sickly or missing has been made perfectly whole."

babieboo Luke 13:11-17

03-04-2005, 05:23 AM

"And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?" Luke 13:16 Jesus calls this infirmity bondage. He spoke as if being a daughter of Abraham gave her a right to be free from this bondage of infirmity. He acted as if God's covenant with Abraham was still in effect hundreds of years later, and could be the basis for justifying this woman's healing. In her own strength, she wasn't even able to lift herself up from being bowed down. When Jesus addressed her, He spoke as if she was already healed: "Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity." He then laid His hands on her and immediately she was made straight. He didnt even wait for her to call out to Him. He saw her from a distance and summoned her to Himself. This scripture passage doesnt even say if she used any of her faith to get healed. He just called her out. When He had laid hands on her and healed her, the leader of the synagogue was so caught up in enforcing the law that he couldnt rejoice with the others on the glorious miracle that had just taken place. Thank God for our healing is by faith, not by keeping the law. When your healing is manifest, imagine what rejoicing will take place as your friends and family members celebrate with you! Confess this aloud: "I can see it now, my family and friends are rejoicing with me because my healing his come, and I am loosed from that infirminty."
