RECRUITMENT TO CATEGORY III POSTS IN FOOD CORPORATION OF INDIA (FCI)

The Staff Selection Commission will hold an open competitive examination for recruitment to Category III posts in Food Corporation of India in General, Accounts, Depot and Technical cadres in the pay scale of Rs. 9300 Rs. 22940/- (IDA pattern) and Assistant Grade II & Typist (Hindi posts) in the pay scale of Rs. 9900 Rs. 25530/- and Rs. 9300 Rs. 22940/- respectively. The posts are located at five zones of FCI i.e. North, South, East, West and North East. The Staff Selection Commission is holding the examination under a special dispensation given by the Government of India. The candidates selected through this recruitment for posts in FCI will NOT have the status of Central Government Civilian Employees. As such they will not be eligible for benefit of age relaxation etc. As such they will not be

After the examination, the results will be declared and offer of appointment given by FCI. The selected candidates will be full time employees of Food Corporation of India and will be government by terms, conditions and service rules of Food Corporation of India.

The Tentative number of vacancies is 3755, which may vary at the discretion of FCI. Allotment of the candidates will initially be made zone-wise following merit-cum-option and allotment to posts within the zone will also follow the same criterion.
