    Wicked is the brand new musical that will be difined as the best musical that was produced in 2003. It has won several awards such as the 2004 Drama Desk Awards for Outstanding Musical, Book, Lyrics and Orchestrations;2004 Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Broadway Musical, and the 2009 Helpmann Award for Best Musical. The music and lyrics were written by Stephen Schwartz. Schwartz has also written lyrics/music for musicals such as Godspell (1971) and Pippin (1972). Wicked is based off the novel Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West (1995). The novel is a parallel novel of the 1936 filim The Wizard of Oz and the classic story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum (1900). So what are you waiting for?
