OFFICE OF THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE Milwaukee County SCOTT WALKER + COUNTY EXECUTIVE June 3, 2002 Dear Thave examined the documents that you provided me in our meeting on Friday, May 17, 2002. | appreciate your taking the time in our rather lengthy meeting and several phone conversations to lay out for me the issues surrounding your involvement with the DECA program, Unfortunately, I do not, at this time, find any specific actions that I can take in regard to your case and the allegations of a ‘cover-up’ that you make. In reviewing this information, I did identify a couple of issues wherein I believe that the Human Resources Department could have more clearly labeled lists, etc. that may have provided clarity. I will be forwarding to the new Director of Human Resources, when that person is named, a request to discuss how these lists are labeled to ensure the Department is communicating clearly. While 1 empathize with your circumstances, I simply do not find specific actions that I can take to provide the remedies that you seek As for your request that I return all documents provided, Iam unable to do so. As you will recall, all documents in my possession are copies made here in the Executive's Office. 1 will retain those for our constituent files.
