 ANGELART® NEMESIA

This is the new Nemesia series distributed by Fides

North America and sold through Lowe’s.

   
 1 FEATURES
• Clearly marked mounding habit
• High vigor
• Wide color range
• Very fragrant and abundant flowers
• Great choice for hanging baskets, combination planters
or as monoculture

   
 2 PLANTING
• One cutting for 4 - 5 inch pots (5-7 weeks crop time)
• Three cuttings for 6 inch pots (7-9 weeks crop time)
• Three to five cuttings for 10 or 12-inch baskets (8-12
weeks crop time)

In order to prevent crown rot, do not

transplant the liner too deep in the
chosen media.
   
 3 TOTAL CROP TIME

• Depending on region, time of year and liner used,

crop time from a rooted cutting is about 6-8 weeks.

   
 4 ROOTING, MEDIA, WATERING
• Roots are sensitive to over watering and high salt
levels. Use well-drained, peat moss-based substrate
with low salt levels and pH levels on a range of
5.6 - 6.0.

• After roots have developed, start feeding program

using 150-200 ppm nitrogen and well-balanced
fertilizer.

   
 5 TEMPERATURE

• Ranges are 62.6 - 68º F days and 55.4 – 60.8º F

nights.

• Starting cool morning treatments after side shoots

have developed encourages a better habit and earlier
flowering.

   
 6 PINCHING
• One or two times to either the liner or the plant right
after transplanting is recommended.

   
 7 LIGHT
• Angelart® likes high light levels of 5.000 - 6.000 foot
candles.

   
 8 PLANT GROWTH REGULATORS

• B-Nine: 2,500 - 5,000 ppm

• Florel: 400 - 500 ppm

   
 9 DAY LENGTH SENSITIVITY

• Angelart® is a day-neutral plant, therefore, it does

not present day length sensitivity.

   
 10 DISEASE

• Angelart® cuttings come from clean stock material

and are grown under optimal hygiene standards.

• Nemesia common pests and diseases include

aphids, thrips, botrytis and pythium.
